  1. I believe the new listing for a 4* in Bellevue is the new Westin at Lincoln Center. The property is at the intersection of 8th St., NE and Bellevue Way, and is directly across the street from the Hyatt. I believe the Westin will put some pressure on the older Hyatt, and you will start seeing they Hyatt showing up more in future Priceline bidding.
  2. First bid of $45 accepted. Taxes and service fees of $13.70 for total of $58.70. Lowest online price was $89. Probably could have gotten it a few dollars cheaper, but I wanted to lock this in.
  3. Started bidding at $95 for Downtown 4* Used free rebids increasing by $5.00 each time up to $115. Used free rebid to increase to $121, then $126, then $131, none accepted. Turns out, no rooms available at Sheraton, Westin or Hotel Vintage Park. Must be a convention in town.
  4. The Marriott Town Center, in Redmond, is an excellent property. It's in the Town Center complex, with plenty of restaurants, shops and a multiplex movie theatre within steps. Among other shops, the complex has a large Eddie Bauer Store, Macy's and Barnes & Noble. I stayed there over Labor Day weekend, at the hotel's $99/night price, and was pleased with the quality of the room. FWIW, this hotel was good enough for President Bush, who stayed there when he visited Washington State in August. Downtown Bellevue is about a 10 minute drive on Rt. 520. I recommend the property, but have not seen it turn up on any posts indicating any successful Priceline bids for this property.
