  1. Upgraded I believe. It is a boutique hotel. Very quaint. Rooms are a little small but simular to other big city boutique hotels. Overall a really nice place.
  2. Finally got an accepted bid. I got a little impatient and most likely could have gotten a little better deal but I am leaving for Monterey tomorrow on business and I wanted to wrap the SF part of the trip up before I left. I tried several bids for Fisherman's wharf, USE, USW (union square east, west) 4* only starting at $85 and increasing at $5 per bid up to $120 for about three days in a row only adding boutique when I got to $100. this morning I tried $90 and was rejected I went to $100 and added 3* and was accepted at the Warwick Hotel in USE I think. In the past, the closer I got to my arrival date the better deal I would be able to get but I wanted to get this out of the way since my family would be traveling with me this time. I would normally not increase my bid that much and lower the star rating at the same time but...like I said I got a little impatient. Good hunting. PB
  3. I need help. Looking on this board I see that a few of you have gotten $88 in SF. I am going to be in SF from 7/28 to 7/30. I have sumitted bids ranging from $85 all the way to $120 for a four star hotel using 3-4 different locations. mostly around Fishermans wharf and Union Square. I have been rejected each time. Any suggestions?
  4. bid 1* in Pineville no other star rating available on Priceline $28 rejected added Alexandria rejected waited 24 hrs bid $35 in Pineville, rejected added Alexandria accepted. Hotels only 6 miles apart. I would not recommend this hotel. Mildew in the bathroom, rust on the fixtures. But I was looking for something cheap and that's what I got. regular room rate for this hotel was about 60-65. The days inn in pineville six miles away was $70.00
  5. Going to Tioga Louisiana for a weekend baseball tournament. It is just above Alex. Anybody have bidding help for me. Thanks Packbacker
  6. No I don't mind staying anywhere in the shaded area. I was just explaining what my specific preference was. Thanks for any help you can give.
  7. I want to stay on the Lake side (opposite side across the I-10 from the airport) of the Interstate. The team has a group rate of $79 per night at the Fairfield Inn. The event we are attending is at the Ponchatrain Center at the end of Williams Blvd and Lake Ponchatrain next to the Treasure Chest Casino. I would like no less than three star. Just trying to save a few bucks as we will be there for two to three nights. Thanks for any help you can give me.
  8. I am trying to stay next to the Ponchartrain Center in Kenner. Any suggestions on how to bid? Feburary 10th through the 13th.
  9. We have stayed at the Riverside Hilton on three occasions. Choose Convention Center zone and four star, as the Hilton is the only four star in that zone. I paid $45 once and $50 on the other two occasions. All stays were between the months of April and June. Good luck.
