St. Giles - The Court does not appear to be a 4 star hotel based on recent reviews, but at $100 in NYC one cannot expect The Ritz. We ended up with the Club Quarters for $140 a night. We have stayed at this hotel multiple times (the rooms are small) but the location is perfect for our NYE plans. We are very pleased. I made 30+ bid combinations over the past few days. I got a lot of counteroffers. Last night I got a counteroffer for a 3.5* in Rittenhouse Square for $172. This morning, I saw that the rack rates on many Philly hotels dropped, so I tried again, and we got the CQ. I do wonder if they would of accepted a bid lower than $140, but I could only go off my bid history and I was out of time and rebids. Thank you for your help. As always, I used your PRICELINE link.

There are very few 4 star "resort" hotels left for Labor Day weekend, so we are fine with this bid. Lowest rack rate for this hotel for our dates was $184. First failed bid was $85, added another zone, second failed bid was $95, added another zone, third failed bid was $110, added another zone and with my fourth bid of $125 I finally got a counter offer of $165. I am trying to identify this 4* San Juan Hotel for 8/31 - 9/4. The amenities are below. My best guess is the Inter-Continental, however the hotel listed is not a Customer Favorite. Based on the rack rates for this timeframe, the Intercontinental is the lowest priced hotel room in the 4 star category. Curious as to your thoughts?
