I am glad that you are thrilled with this hotel. I was nervous about bidding 3* in this area {Perimeter} b\c of this hotel. Usually when I bid in this area I would get the Hilton Garden Inn (GREAT PLACE!!!) So, I may consider bidding in the 3* range again b/c you stated that the rooms are nice and 3* worthy.

WOW! From a 1* to a 3* they must really be doing some major rehab!!! I hope that you enjoy your stay and please post your reviews of the hotel after your stay. Thank you again for your insight.

I would like to stay in the: Sea World - Intl. Drive - Convention Center Universal Orlando Resort Area - I-Drive North Lake Buena Vista - Downtown Disney My ceiling is about $40 per night.

It is very difficult to find a hotel on priceline in the Midtown/Buckhead area with free parking. However, you will get a better deal on PRICELINE. Moreover, you will not be able to accurately predict the hotel via PRICELINE.

3* Atlanta Airport South Courtyard Marriott 5\21-5/23 $35 ( Friday -Sunday) 2 rooms First Bid on 4 star Atlanta Airport Area for $35 was rejected added Airport North 4* rejected. Next added 3.5 star same 2 zones same price $35 rejected. Next, added 3* accepted by the Courtyard By Marriott Atlanta Airport South/Sullivan Road. Looks like this one needs to be added to the list. Does anybody know what is in the Orlando Airport West area? Was this previously part of the MCO area and they just split it out? What hotels are located there?

Wingate Inn Jacksonville South (Feb 13-15) Started out bidding on a 3 star (beach area) at $35 (rejected). Next, added downtown and offered $36 (rejected). So, I dropped to a 2.5 star and bided $29 (rejected) and then I added Jacksonville South and offered $31 for a 2.5 star accepted by the Wingate Inn, seems to be a pretty nice hotel. Rack rate is $119 + tax. So, I think that I am a WINNER!!! I will post a review after my stay. PRICELINE Link used.. I have heard of various priceline customers getting upgrades to very nice suites by tipping the front desk clerk $20 at check-in. Have any of you all tried this trick and if yes was it successful!!

3.5* Atlanta (Midtown) Georgian Terrace, $58 Started bidding at $50 per night. Got a "raise by $14 to win the hotel" response. Declined and started going up with free rebids by $1 each bid. Finally, clicked at $58 per night. I don't think this is 3.5 star quality. Parking is $25 per day. I was highly disappointed with this hotel. I think that the word HISTORIC is a synonym for OLD. Used the PRICELINE link

3* Perimeter - Hilton Garden Inn - $31 - 1/16\10 MLK Weekend First bid was $30, I got a message that if I increased my bid to $39, it would probably be accepted. I added Forest Park then re-bid $31 and it was accepted. I bidded via PRICELINE link.
