Hi, I tried to bid for 4* in French Quarter, Downtown, Convention Center. Started from 100USD and stopped at 180USD. No success either for 3,5 in Downtown with 150 USD. Interesting part: After like 30 bids I clicked on PRICELINE EXPRESS Deals and the offers were significantly lower than if you would go straight to Express Deals. There was a black bar with white writing on top: BOOK NOW: These prices are so low we can only lock them in for a limited time! I gave up. Will skip New Orleans.

I think this was the best Marriott I have ever stayed at and all gold benefits were granted (lounge access - open also on weekends; we were allowed to have breakfast in the restaurant)...

Thanks Romelle. problem is that in the same group there is this lexington hotel which is the worst on tripadvisor.

I found the Marriott Beachside and the Doubletree for 180€ (240USD Tax incl.) but these are non-refundable rates. I have reserved the Doubletree for 240 USD (our corp. rate incl. tax) which can be cancelled 72h before. that's why I'm a little confused that i don't get anything for like 150 or so via NYOP.

I have tried the following 4* 150-200 3,5* 150-200 3* 150-200 i don't want to go down to 2,5* as it looks like that these hotels stink :-) any advice? is it too early?
