  1. First bid of $64 was accepted. Used the PRICELINE link from hotel lists. 3 nights total was $228.57
  2. Was hoping this was Westin Kierland Villas but Zona is fine for one night, Hotwire must have upgraded them. $75 is a great deal for a condo when the AZ heat is around 111 today. Off to the pools with 8 of us. 2 rooms were a must. Hotel Rate per night: $75.00 Nights: 1 Rooms: 2 Tax recovery charges & fees: $28.71 Subtotal: $178.71 Trip total: $178.71 Zona Hotel & Suites - 1 Bedroom Condos See ratings guide 7677 East Princess Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ, 85255 (480) 585-1234 Map Book a Meeting Room Nearby Check-in Sat, Jun 1, 2013 Check-out Sun, Jun 2, 2013 Amenities See description Resort 1 Bedroom Suite Fully-equipped Kitchen Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center 24-hour Front Desk Laundry Facilities (self-service) High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby
  3. Tried bidding on Priceline up to $81/nt for a 3.5star with no luck. Used the HOTWIRE link from this site. Amenities listed for 3.5* property were: Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Tennis Nearby Spa Services Accessible for the deaf Free Parking Free Internet Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Wheelchair accessible Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower From all the information available I was convinced it would be the Poco Diablo or the Amara but ended up with Los Abrigados. I'm not entirely concerned with the bad reviews of this place, it's only two nights, with kids - we're mainly going to just get out of town for a couple days, see the red rocks, and go swimming.
  4. I was hoping for either the Loews or the Westin but SURPRISE got the Lodge at Ventana Canyon for $63. Started at $59, was offered $74 but declined, added a rebid zone and got The Lodge for $63. I was slightly worried at first but after reading some Trip Advisor reviews it sounds like a pretty nice place and it sounds like we are able to use the pool at the Loews resort (which was great when we stayed there in March - I'll call to verify this information). They have a pool but it's like an olympic one with lap lanes (ugh). I'm taking my husband for his birthday - a nice night away without the kids. Used the Pricline link from this site. Room Cost (avg. per room, per night):$63.00 (USD) Number of Rooms:1 Number of Nights:1 Room Subtotal:$63.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees:$17.47 (USD) Total Room Cost:$80.47 (USD)
  5. Won on second bid started at $94 in Oro Valley, Added La Paloma-Ventana Canyon and won the Loews Ventana Canyon for $99. 3/19/11-3/20/11 Just looking to get away for a night to explore Tucson this weekend with the family. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $99.00 Subtotal: $99.00 Taxes & Fees: $23.45 Total Charges*: $122.45 Not sure if there is a resort fee, probably $20 or so. And I used the PRICELINE link to start my purchase :)
  6. Used the PRICELINE link above but so far I've tried altering the dates of stay 1/13/11 - 1/17/11. Initially tried for 5* but I just can't afford over $100/nt. Saw others win for $50 and went all the way up to $70 and nothing. Rejected, re-bid, then the ultimate here's the retail stuff. I'll try again tomorrow. Maybe their inventory is low since its a holiday weekend and I may have to increase my budget.
  7. Used the PRICELINE link above on 7/7/10. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $62.00 Subtotal: $62.00 Taxes & Fees: $15.27 Total Charges*: $77.27
  8. Started at $70, 4* in Dana Point - San Clemente Added areas without 4* and added $5 each time, finally accepted at $95 - Happy with that since the priceline cost is $239/nt. 1 night, 3/14/2010. Used the betterbidding PRICELINE link to book.
