  1. for 2 adults, 2 kids Resort, Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Internet access, Children's activities
  2. Looking for a Paddy's day hotel for the Sounders match. Stuck to 4* Downtown - Pike Place, started at $55, re-bidding in $5-$6 increments using 3* max zones, got the Edgewater on the 5th try. Have stayed here before and am very happy with this price!
  3. Started at $35, re-bid 4 times up to $48. Whole stay is less than one night at regular rates. Used the forum link to PRICELINE. Pretty happy with this deal.
  4. HOTWIRE had a $59 deal up for a 3* (don't remember amenities except non-smoking). Figured it was worth a shot on PRICELINE, started at $49 and got the Hyatt Place, which was what I was hoping for. Nice place, big rooms, nice staff.
  5. First bid $95 for Strip South. Immediate "you can increase your bid to $105 right now" offer. Not super excited to be off the strip, but it is a short walk away.
  6. Started in Seattle and expanded to Lake Union, then Everett, then Bellevue. Just wanted under $100 and Bellevue was as far as I was going before dropping to 3*. Turns out I didn't even need to. Hyatt Regency Bellevue 4*.
  7. Have a two-day seminar at an airport hotel so wanted to stay within walking distance. Searched only Seattle Airport zone, 3* - $38 was accepted on first try. Was actually hoping for this hotel, have stayed here many times when flying out of SeaTac and never had a bad experience. :)
  8. Didn't get anywhere with several re-bidding attempts over the last week on Priceline going up to $165. Figured Inter-Continental The Barclay was pretty safe on Hotwire with all the positive reviews I've read. $199/nt Cust. favorite Restaurant, Fitness, Tennis, Business Center
  9. Hyatt Regency Bellevue Got declined for Downtown Seattle 4* all the way up to $95 with 3 re-bids, so went over to Bellevue & dropped to $65. Got the Hyatt Regency on that first bid.
  10. Yes! Trying to get out of a rut of doing the same things every trip. Some constant favorites are: Katz's Grimaldi's Brooklyn Brewery Brooklyn Bridge Central Park Battery Park The Met Shopping in the Village Slices from Ray's (Famous Original Ray's, that is)
  11. Bid 3* MTW, MTE, MTC, got the Sheraton Manhattan on the first bid. Have stayed at the Sheraton NY Hotel & Towers before, but never at the Sheraton Manhattan. I've found that other NYC 3* properties through PL/HW are usually pretty comfortable (if occasionally a bit older or not in perfect shape), and this is in a great location and it has their fantastic beds, so for $90/nt this will be a great trip!
  12. Not sure if it will work the same for you, but I just got the Sheraton Manhattan on Priceline March 8-13 2006 for $90/nt. bidding first shot for a 3*. -olyrc
  13. Follow-up left. Didn't end up using PL or HW.
  14. Friend ended up getting a room at the Barbary Coast for something like $59/nt. Not a fantastic hotel, but not horrid, and the location was great.
  15. Looking for something decent, 4* preferred, 3* if decent, prefer to stay south strip or low north strip (nothing north of Wynn). I'd like to stay under $100/nt. Thanks much, olyrc
  16. Yes, just those 6 things. Tried for the Venetian on priceline ($70 first bid, then $80 for 5 star, expanding one zone), but all it will give me is a "raise your offer to $110." No Entertainment rebates or anything, this is just coming up straight out on Priceline. Not sure if I'm going to try it or not, but if I do, I'll report back. Thanks, olyrc
  17. Still showing for me. Just double occupancy. One night stay, check-in July 21, out July 22. $88. To clarify, this is a North Strip 4* - my original post text said South Strip accidentally.
  18. Jul 21-22 North Strip 4* $88 Selected amenities include: Casino, Restaurant(s), Pool(s), Fitness Center, Spa Services, Business Center. Thanks much, olyrc
  19. Posted them originally, but they've been removed, so I'm guessing that is a no-no here. Decided to just go with The Drake anyway (Hotels.com $159/nt), so the 3* is a moot point now. Cheers, olyrc
  20. 3*. Customer Favorite. Restaurant(s), Fitness Center, Business Center. Can't find one to match in the list. Help! Thanks much, Olyrc
