I started a few weeks ago and was not successful with a variety of prices. We have stayed at the Hyatt Place but was not successful with any bids from 80-95$. Bid $99 and was upgraded to Renaissance. Very happy with that. I used the PRICELINE link from this site

I believe we will be sailing from Red Hook (Brooklyn) on Princess. We are plannign ona rriving Friday morning and hoping to see some of the sights in NYC. Any suggestions on what areas to stay in and what type of budget I am looking at. I was thinking about $150. There will be 2 adults and 2 teens. We might stay 1 night when we come back.

I would like a room DT with 2 beds as there will be three of us in the room. I don't want to be stuck with a queen or kig bed. Any advice on how I arrange for that. I was looking at 4*...probably bid $75...does that sound reasonable. Thank you for your help
