  1. i am trying to get a room aug 7-11 and have bid all the way up to $120 for a 4 star and 3.5 star and nothing so far. i too am wondering if there is something going on in san fran that weekend or week? i see 4 stars going for $85-$100 all the time using priceline in nob hill, union sq, financial, soma areas. anyone know if there is a big convention or somthing in town?
  2. started bid low at $60 and moved up every $5 until finally taken at $85. Was really hoping for Palmer House Hilton but got the Hilton on South Michigan Ave. Seems like an expensive Saturday night compared to other Saturday night deals I've gotten recently. I used the PRICELINE link on better bidding to make my purchase!

  4. Hotwire has a 3.5 star Chicago Loop hotel for $79 on Dec 31-jan1. Fitness center, restaurant(s), laundry, High speed internet is all the ammenities. any ideas anyone?
  5. just got back from maui in august 2009. used hotwire and got the sheraton. sheraton has a wide and beautiful beach. hyatt and westin have hardly any beach at all but are waterfront. we stayed at sheraton and loved it and vistited the westin and hyatt since they are all right next to each other on a beach walkway. they are all awesome..you won't go wrong

I used hotwire for my honeymoon to maui in august 2009. booked a 4* on kaanapali beach for $240 and got the sheraton and just loved the place. hyatt, sheraton, westin are all on the same paved beach path - you won't go wrong with any of them. sheraton has the best beach on kaanapali beach by far though. have fun.

  8. looking for name of 4.5 star in Puerto Morelos/ North Riviera maya area for march 28- april 4th 2010. $269 a night. All inlcusive suite beach front food and beverages included premium food and beverages ala cart dining water sports evening activies daily activities fitness center pools restaurants business center golf nearby tennis nearby spa any ideas what this could be? i was thinking maybe the Secrets Silversands or one of the Azul resorts?? i was also wondering when/how you find out if it's an "adults only" resort? will it tell you before you actually pay for it?

  10. does hotwire list an icon if a resort is "adults only"?
