  1. I would love help. I am attending a wedding over the holiday weekend in Skokie and had booked an airB&B that just cancelled. I have rented a car (non refundable) b/c parking was included in my rental. I have been to Chgo many times but my boyfriend has not so we want to be near the city to enjoy the days and trek to Skokie for the wedding. Is Doubletree by Hilton Mag. mile a good choice. I can get that for 200 with parking?

  2. FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower

    $159. 4*

  3. New Kimpton boutique hotel scored on Hotwire.  A $25.00 resort fee is added to the rate per day and still a great price. Rack rate for the nights I am there is $179.  Everyone pays the resort fee which includes fitness classes, entertainment (if it is going on when your are there), coffee and tea in the morning, Wi-Fi, shuttle service within 2 miles of the hotel and self parking.  Other Kimpton properties I have stayed in are excellent; this one is described as retro with records and record players in the rooms. Listed as a boutique hotel 4*. It is 8 miles from Santa Barbara.

  4. Used the link for Price.line then used Priceline.Express.

Amenities are breakfast, internet, pool, free pkg., pet friendly, airport shuttle, bus. ctr., weight room

    room listed $46

    tax + fees $15.25

    15% off ($6.90)

    Total $54.35

A bed choice was offered and I selected 2 double, the least expensive but exactly what I need.  The price escalated for different bed choices. You see the bed choice before paying.

  5. I have requested the stay on lastminutetravel.com and after 4 days have not heard from them. I did find a new listing on Hotwire for a 4* UNION SQUARE WEST NOB HILL for $221

4-star Hotel in Union Square West - Nob Hill

This Hotel features the following amenities:

    Boutique Hotel

    Fitness Center

    Restaurant(s)

    Business Center

    High-Speed Internet Access

    Free Internet

    In-room accessibility

Is the Hotel Triton a 3* or a 3.5*? And is it USE or USW?

Thanks for all of your help.

  6. I have bid up to $170 for a 4* USE which is my top priority for this stay. I am willing to go down a star level to keep the price down and would appreciate a strategy for bidding. I have several rebid zones with a 4* and even with a 3 1/2* rating but I am not sure how to go about this. I have seen wins well below the bids I am making but they are for different dates. Are my dates in a desired time period when rooms are higher? Thanks so much for your help. I always use your links for my bidding.

  7. Thanks so much for your assistance. The 3* MTE was in fact the Roger Smith. I am happy with this win. FYI-I have been bidding 3 to 4* hotels on Priceline while watching Hotwire for this trip. On Priceline I went up to $220 for these nights with no success aadditionally I did have a Marriott backup reservation for $258 so this win saves me $100 and gives me a better location and a better reviewed property. Thanks again as always I used your links for my booking.

Midtown East 3* $205 ammenities Accessible bathroom, Business Center, Smoke Free Rooms

I really appreciate your help with id on any of these properties. I have been bidding on Priceline as well and have gone up to $210 for a 4* in CP or MTE. I have used rebid and nothing so these Hotwire properties look good today. My stay is getting close so I can use some help for strategy. This seems to be a very busy time with really high prices.

  10. Booked this for two adults, one child to assure getting 2 beds. On the web the rate is double for the nights we are booked in. I had searched prior to going to HOTWIRE through your link and all I found on the retail rack was Holiday Inn for $140 so this is a good deal. While not being ideally located I can drop twenty/thirty a day on cabs and still come out ahead. As long as the weather is nice and the areas safe I love to walk so this win is a go with me.
