  1. Yes, at least it's worked for me each time I've tried it.
  2. RRET8W4CJF Must book by 6/29/03 and travel by 10/24/03
  3. I'd definately agree that 3*s in Toronto are often better values than 4*s. My information though is that Priceline has the Sheraton on Queen St. West as a 3* - although it really should be a 4*. Another example of a 3* being a better value, assuming the Sheraton's location works for the bidder. The going rate for a 3*in DT Toronto, given normal availability, hovers around $35 with the current exchange rate. Bids in the $30s to $40s are very likely safe from being upgraded to 4* given that the lowest 4* acceptance appears to be in the low $50s to, in most cases, $60s. The Strathcona unfortunately is the rotten apple in the DT Toronto 3* barrel. If they would just kick it down to 2 1/2* or even 2* where it belongs, bidding on this zone at 3* would be a real treat.
  4. Both Marriotts are in the downtown zone and are about a mile and a quarter apart. The Courtyard used to be 2.5* but was upgraded to 3* not too long ago. I think it merits 3*, as do most Courtyards, and would have been perfectly happy to get that. But the Marriott Eaton Centre is a really terriffic hotel, rated Mobil 4* and AAA 4 diamonds. Lucky bid because, not only did I avoid getting the Strathcona, a Priceline 3* that should really be a 2*, but got the Marriott, a Priceline 3*, that should really be a 4*.
  5. Started with $27 for DT - No $29 adding Brampton - No $32 adding Scarborough - No $35 adding Toronto East - *Accepted* $5.82 was the "Taxes and Service Fee".
  6. According to my calculation Priceline paid $45.05, but I'm not good at math either :)
  7. Nice, new looking Holiday Inn just a half mile from the Qualcomm Stadium Trolley stop: Holiday Inn San Diego/Mission Valley
