  1. It's still there but I'm searching for two rooms (2 adults, 2 kids). Price has actually dropped to $127. Just booked it. Sorry, not sure if I used a HOTWIRE link from here or an already open tab for Hotwire. It's the H10 Marina Hotel.
  2. Going for $132 on July 20. Amenities: swimming pool, business centre, restaurant, fitness centre. Am really hoping it's the Silken Ramblas. Been tracking Barcelona hotels on Hotwire for this date for awhile and this one seems new. Anyone know what it is? Thanks in advance
  3. Here's the full list of amenities: Resort Slopeside Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities (self-service) High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby
  4. After getting nowhere on PRICELINE looking for a hotel in Kamloops for one night (seriously I paid less for a 4* this summer in Barcelona than 3* hotels in Kamloops wanted, and Kamloops is pretty damned drab), I switched over to HOTWIRE, using the link here, and got the Delta Sun Peaks for $104. The price on the Delta was ping ponging a bit so I jumped in when it came down from $111. Been to Sun Peaks several times and the Delta is the best place there aside from some of the townhomes you rent directly from owners. Amenities made it obvious it was the Delta (resort, pool, ski in/ski out, fitness centre) and even though it's a 40-45 drive back into Kamloops I'd rather do that than stay in a crap 3* in Kamloops for up to $150.
  5. We stayed at the Silken Ramblas for three nights: Aug 1 in, Aug 4 out (i think)
  6. Any help appreciated Located Downtown * Marina * Las Ramblas Amenities: Boutique hotel Oceanfront (but not necessarily on a beach) Pool Fitness Centre Restaurant Offered at $202/night Thought it might be the W but not sure that's really a boutique and it seems to be right on the beach (which has its own icon). Grand Marina Hotel maybe?
  7. Booked yesterday for Seattle using the BetterBidding PRICELINE link and also got the Grand Hyatt. Paid $78/night for early December. Very happy with what we got and have rarely been disappointed in the 30 or so times I've used Hotwire or Priceline.
  8. I generally use Hotwire more than Priceline and have booked four times in Seattle in the past two years. We got the Edgewater twice (4* on the water) and I think both were just under $100/night. Once was close to Christmas and the other was in Sept. We also got the Vintage Park Inn right downtown for right around $100/night as well over Christmas. The last was when we were flying out of Seattle last summer and got a place right at the airport. Got the Roundtree for $39/night and we were really pleased. Had two adjoining rooms (which were each very big) and it had a great pool to lounge around. Obviously not downtown though. Both are suitable for couples more than families. Helped a friend go through Hotwire for the first time in March and they have W in Seattle for about $130/night. More modern and very central. Good luck.
  9. Booked this in a rush two nights ago in a McDonald's in Lloret en Mer that had free wireless so didn't have time to use the links on this site (sorry). We got the Hotel Silken Ramblas for $115/night. after having a bid of $89 rejected, they countered with $115 and I crossed my fingers it was for this hotel and took it. This place is great. Truly less than a minute's walk of La Ramblas with three great little restaurants just steps away. Ate at Bar Lobo last night. Best meal we've had on the trip so far. Free wireless, parking is 22 euros a day. Rooms are excellent and the rooftop pool is fantastic.
  10. Used a PRICELINE link here to book the NH Firenze (Aug 10-12) for $70/night on Priceline. Was surprised at how few hotels are on offer at HOTWIRE for these dates in Florence.
  11. I've seen references to being able to do this on Priceline but have no clue how to do it? Just got rejected on a hotel in Seattle and would like to try again tonight if possible rather than wait 24 hours (don't want to change any component of my bid- just bid a bit higher). Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  12. I'm amazed the Pan Pacific is only rated 4*. It's generally on the list of the AAA 5 Diamond hotels which is generally the best of the 5* hotels. The Sutton Place and the Four Seasons are the only other Vancouver hotels that ever get on that list. Great hotel. Try to get a view to the north so you get the mountains and the water.
  13. got the Edgewater using HOTWIRE last September. Similar price I think. Nice place but the room was a bit on the small side and the beds were a weird size. Somewhere between twin and double.
  14. Bid $98/night for two rooms on July 25 and 26 and was accepted. All in with taxes and fees for the two rooms was $499.20. Very pleased as this is less than half what the hotel website wanted.
  15. This site is great! The OP may not want to hear this but I just got two rooms at the Marriott Copenhagen (yes I used the PRICELINE link on this site to start) and my original offer of $98 a night (for two nights : July 25-27) was accepted. Kinda surprised it was but very pleased as this is way less than half the cheapest price price on their website for these dates.
