I ended up with the Hyatt at the airport for 80.00 for Sunday night, 9/18. On Saturday night, I just slept on the couch in my son's apartment.

Earlier this month I got Sutton Place (I think it was $45.00) for a Friday-Monday. Priceline called and said Sutton Place was in the midst of remodeling .. so I could either cancel, or they could move me to the Hyatt. I think the Hyatt was Huntington Beach. I wasn't crazy about Sutton Place, so the Hyatt worked out just fine.

Sorry I took so long to reply, should have replied sooner. I ended up using a "free" room with rewards points in Joliet, south of Chicago. Needed to make sure we had 4 in a room. td

I ended up staying with my in-laws in Pensacola ... so nothing happened.

I tried to bid $51 and went up to $61.00. Would like to stay at Copley but thought maybe I could snag the Doubletree I saw on priceline (downtown). Everything was rejected. Even tried 2 1/2 star .. I hate to go down to 3 star. Any thoughts on what it will take to get a 2 1/2 star or more for Copley or downtown Boston.

Probably would like to get 4 in a room...I'm poor (or tight, depending on how you look at it). Even if it's a little crowded. It's my wife and I, and my daughter & her husband. I'm from Indy, so pretty famililar w/Chicago. They'll probably shop until early afternoon ... then we'll go to a Sox game (3P).

$50 range? It's a little hard to tell. It's a strange mix of family & pleasure. My wife's family was hit kind of hard with the hurricane in Pensacola, so we are going to visit them. So, I'm not sure if we'll spend a lot of time with them, or if they would love to get out and spend time out of town. Pensacola hotels look booked.

I guess I didn't realize the burbs would be a lot less than downtown. Oh well, ... What zone is the Toronto Hilton (on Richmond Street). (Looks like downtown?) How many stars? (4*'s) Any other hotels will that many stars in that area. I have a convention in Feb. '05 (4th - 8), and that is the "show" hotel. Would like to stay there, or close by. When you bid for Canada are you bidding U.S. dollars? Thanks, Tom

New to this board. Appreciate the help. I may not have the format correct. I have stayed in Louisville East for 5 Monday's. $31.00 Rejected $32.00 Accepted at Courtyard Marriott. I paid $35 a couple times when I didn't have the time to try lower ... I assume $32.00 is the going rate. Everytime it was the Courtyard Marriott.
