  2. Was trying unsuccessfully to get a resort on HHI for 6-8 to 6-16 (friday-saturday). Finally changed dates to Fri-Fri and won instantly. Now I wish I had bid lower for the new dates but $118 is still a fantastice deal for HHI resort during the summer. Love the Marriott!
  3. Do you agree that this might be the Holiday Inn Oceanfront. Staying fri 7-1 through 7-8. Here are the amenities. Thanks so much. 3-star Hotel in Hilton Head Island This Hotel features the following amenities: Beach Front Pool Restaurant(s) Laundry Facilities (self-service) High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Children's Activity Program
  4. Friday, July 1st through Saturday July 9th. We are a little flexible could do Fri-Fri or Sat -Sat as well. I have been trying all of these. Thanks so much. That is our plan. Today will be our max bid and if not will go ahead with Holiday Inn Oceanfront.
  5. Hi there, Just wondering if you have any feedback as to the much higher prices on Priceline and Hotwire for that matter. For the past 10 years we have gotten resorts from Priceline and Hotwire during the 4th of July week ranging from $99 in 2010 up to $140. No luck yet on priceline up to $147 today. Thanks so much for any help. May end up going for HOTWIRE for $134 thinking it is the Holiday Inn Oceanfront thanks to this website. Would be a step down from the resorts but atleast oceanfront. 6. Beachfront Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities High-speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Spa Service Kept showing $123-$129 but just kept watching every hour for 2 days and got for $119!
  7. Thank you for all your help. I am very sorry my husband ended up purchasing and did not use your HOTWIRE link.... We did end up with the Marriott Resort and Spa for $99 July 2nd through July 10th. This is a great deal and one of our favorite resorts on HHI. I will be sure to use your link for our next trip. Thanks again
  8. Yes it is the same 4* hotel as listed in my 1st post of this thread. The icons are beachfront, non smoking rooms, fitness center, pools, restaurants, business center, laundry facilities and high speed internet access. I am really just concerned because we have never used hotwire before and like that priceline list as resort not just star rating like Hotwire.
  9. We have only used PRICELINE in the past for Hotels on Hilton Head Island and have had great experiences every time. I see HOTWIRE is offering 4* from July 2nd - July 10th for $99 per night which would be great. I have seen some poor reviews of Hotwire and would love to get some feedback. Is a 4* rating on Hotwire for HHI a resort? It seems so by the amenities listed.
  10. Please help with identifying HHI 4* with HOTWIRE. Dates are 7-2-10 through 7-10-10. Under packages they show the Marriott Golf Resort, Hilton Oceanfront Resort and the Westin with matching star rating. We would be delighted to get the Marriott or the Weston but my husband really didn't like the Hilton. Is there really a way to tell which one you would get? Thanks so much. Here are the details: $99 per night. Amenities Beachfront smoke free rooms fitness center pools restaurants business center laundry facilities high speed internet access golf nearby tennis nearby Spa Services
  11. Started bidding 2 weeks ago and started low at $70...wishful thinking. Then yesterday offered $120 and got the "1 time option" to increase bid by $22 = $142 ( a little high for my taste) to receive a winning bid. I decided take a chance and decline and just up my bid to $125 and was accepted!! Very excited to have got the Marriott at such a good price...The days of winning for $85 during a holiday week are no longer so I consider this a great deal for 4th of July week.... We love the Marriott and the Westin. I was concerned that if I accepted the one time bid of $142 I would get the Hilton which we really did not care for. (I based this on other winning bids of $140's that got the Hilton) Terrible parking, pool far from the beach..one pro is the rooms had a small kitchen.
