Got this on the first bid.

Quite a few free bids for a 3.5* in Clayton. I started a $51 and increased bids in $5 increments until scoring the room fro $66.

Tried free bids of $56 and $61 before winning bid of $65 Total w/taxes and fees for 4 nights = $305.60

11 "free" bids for a 3* in Houston. I started at $36 and went up in about $2 increments. I've stayed here before, nice hotel. Got it last year for $46, oh well.

This is a busy weekend at the Plaza with the annual Plaza Art Festival taking place. I began at $56, got a counter to raise my bid by $16 and try again. Knowing that I was close and I had quite a few free bids I raised in $2 increments and got the Holiday Inn for $66.

I was running out of time so I jumped from $61 (no luck) - $71. Also bid downtown at $66 with no luck. Added Springfield South and got the Courtyard. Total with taxes $168.56.

Worked my way up from $46 over a couple of days using Duncan and Greer zones as free 3* re-bids. I was offered an immediate re-bid if I increased my bid by $16 on my initial $46 bid, so I knew I was getting close. As always, I did use the BB PRICELINE link. My offer of $54 was rejected.

First bid accepted. Passed this on to a fellow traveler who bid $39 with no luck then added a zone for a $40 re-bid and got it. 5 nights at $41 - $245.40 total. Very happy with this property and the price. As always I used the BB PRICELINE link B)

Bid late afternoon of same day. 1st bid $41 for a 2.5* in CS South. Was suggested I raise my bid to $47 and try again. I added CS Central and upped my bid to $42. Got the 3* Courtyard. Lovely as any Courtyard, actually better than most. Great value :)

First bid, total with taxes and fees: $64.53. Bid late in the afternoon on same day. This should not be a 2.5* property. Outdoor corridors with fairly unkempt exterior spaces, marginally appointed rooms. I stayed in the 2.5* Springhill Suites just around the corner exactly one week ago under identical circumstances and bidding strategy, if these are the same star level then my confidence in Priceline is severely shaken. Not impressed, I'm leaving a similar message with PL support. PS I hope BB got credit for this transaction, I was working it on my mobile device via BB and was having some problems with it.

Got this on my first bid. Total cost w/fees & tax = $52.59 I bid on this late in the afternoon on the day of my stay. This was a very nice spot and terrific value, and even though it was very near the airport the parking was free.

I was bidding a 3* and got bumped up to a 3.5*. First bid $41 rejected but offered a hotel for $49, upped bid to $43 and got this one. Total w/taxes and fees = $206.00

$55/night total w/taxes and fees $200.61

1 night. $41 first bid. Total w/taxes and fees $54.45

$40/night $52.82 total w/taxes and fees

1 night total w/taxes & fees $60.11 Last time I stayed at this property I think I had to pay for the internet. Now wireless is complimentary. Did I hear somewhere that this was a new Marriott-wide policy?

I forgot that hotels next to airports usually charge for parking, in this case an additional $10. This hotel was used pretty hard. Total cost without the parking was $48.41.

Got this on the first bid. I had 3 more free bids for a 3* in this zone so, who knows?

I got this on the first bid so who knows how low they will go. Total with taxes and fees = $65.17. Gorgeous new hotel. Outrageously great decor, staff and layout. Good for you if you get this one!
