  5. I have unsuccessfully been bidding for a 4* hotel in midtown east from 9/20 - 9/26. I would prefer ME but have been including ESB, MW, TS (are these areas pretty close to everywhere, it is our first time to NY and just want to stay somewhere close to everything). Am i correct in saying there are 4 free re bid zones? I have tried up to $140 so far with no luck. I just saw someone got the roosevelt for $101 in august, this would be great! What kind of price do you think we should be looking at? Any suggestions? I have set up alerts for $130 and under I have already clicked on both PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links numerous times :)

  12. if i cant get it for $120 i will lower my star rating.. I mean there is no 4 star hotels in wailea area so can i use that as a free re-bid zone?
  13. it is going for $299 a night.. i guess i can try kaanapali but i just thought it was a bit far away from the hakelau crater to do the sunrise bike tour.. plus i thought it would more expensive anyway to stay here.. can i add 4 star as there are no 4 star hotels in the areas (not kaanapali) or will this not work?
  14. so far no luck i have gone up to $120 and am getting nothing.. i see others have won it for a bit closer dates, do you think if i just keep waiting and trying?? or is this a busy period i am trying to book in?
  15. won the sheraton on my second bid! (first was $95 added free re bid zone) used the PRICELINE link! thanks
  16. it was from priceline. it said people have won resorts in wailea for $125 do you want to bid to win this hotel for $125? and it listed amenities for the hotel..

  18. hi yes i did last night sorry i will update it now! we are just spending one night in Maui. I received an email saying i could have a resort in Wailea_makena for $125 as other people have one it for that. its doesnt say what hotel just lists the facilities. Ive compared the facilities listed and think it is probably the marriott. should i just book this or do you think i could get it cheaper?
  19. im trying to win a resort in Maui in the Wailea area for one night on the 7/12-7/13. I have unsuccessfully tried bidding $105 (started from $95 with $5 increments) but have had no luck.. any got any suggestions? I have the 2 free rebid areas Kihei and Kahului but can i also add 4* or any other star rating as there are no 4 star hotels for any of these areas?

  21. i need an ID for a 3* hotel in central waikiki for 7/7-15/7 its $73 it only lists amenties as near beach, pool, laundry.. any ideas? im hoping for the aqua waikiki wave...
  22. is this a 2.5* currently or 3*? im looking to bid for a 3* in waikiki central, hopefully the waikiki wave or ohana east.. what other ones are 3*?
  23. Also can i have help with an ID for a 3.5* in Waikiki beach area (same dates) for $109 amenties are: nearby beach, pools, restuarants, laundry, golf nearby, tennis nearby.. hope the posts are ok ( im new)
  24. amenities are: near beach, fitness centre, pool(s), business centre, laundry facilities, tennis nearby.. central waikiki for $105 for july 7-16th 2009
  25. I am new to this but think i have a good understanding of the whole process except for one thing.. how do you search for hotels offered under each star? in all the forums people have listings saying ID this hotel for $x in aa.. how do they find this info out without actually bidding?? one more question.. i have gathered if you want a lower star rating i.e. 1* or 2* its best to prob just book using the hotel website or something as you dont get as big a discount.. in general, the higher the star rating the bigger the saving right??
