  1. Only three star hotel in Roseville, CA through Hotwire that was 100% recommended by Hotwire Customer Reviews. Includes Free Parking, breakfast, internet; is pet friendly, smoke-free rooms, with fitness center, pool, and business center. I have stayed at this hotel, and it really is a great place to stay. You could literally walk to the Roseville Galleria if you chose to (about 1/2 mile). I booked this reservation through the Better Bidding HOTWIRE link above.
  2. Started bidding for 4 star at $50, decreased the star level to 3.5 at same bid price. Increased my bid by $5 each time including other areas that had 3 star or lower. I won when I reached $75. Contacted the hotel, and this is for a "Queen Boutique" room which is there smallest room with only a single queen, but they offered upgrades to larger rooms for a price. Since this was for my wife and her brother, we chose to upgrade to the double queen room for an additional $30/night. FYI: This hotel has a $20/day parking fee with in and out privileges. I used the PRICELINE link above to submit my bids.
  3. Described as, "Free Breakfast, Free Parking, Free Internet, Pool(s), Fitness Center, Business Center, and more..." Purchased through the BB hw Link
  4. I saw that Priceline offered a 4 star hotel through their Express Deals for $50/night. Since the Marriott is currently the only known 4 star hotel in Rancho Cordova, I thought I would try and bid for it through their Name Your Own Price option to get it for less. Started at $40/night and Priceline delayed my bid and told me I had little chance to win at that price and asked me to increase my bid; which I ignored. After submitting the $40 bid, Priceline came back and said if I increased my bid to $51 I could bid again; which I ignored. Bid again at $42/night and lost, and then won at $44/night. I placed my bid through the Betterbidding PRICELINE link above.
  5. Very happy with my win: It is an all suite hotel, and includes a full cooked-to-order breakfast. Full price for the room is $89.00/night.
  6. Bid through the BetterBidding PRICELINE link Started at $60 for a three star hotel in Milpitas, or Santa Clara. Hit at $68 for the Crowne Plaza. Supposedly just completed renovations (July 2013).
  7. *I used the PRICELINE link at the top of the page when making this reservation* Reviewed the information in this forum and saw the typical lowest bid accepted for a 4 star hotel was around $95. Started at $90 and was willing to increase my bid to $105 and expand my areas to include Union Square East and West. Have to admit I was a bit surprised to see a hit on my first effort, but am very happily surprised!
  8. For a one night stay in San Juan, PR on April 16, 2011 before our cruise : started bidding for a 3.5 star and was rejected up through $120/night. Changed to a 3 star and started at $80 (what I won at November, 2010), finally won at $110. Must be because it is Spring Break or something. Won the Marriott Courtyard San Juan Miramar (where we stayed last November). I used the PRICELINE link at the top of the Better Bidding web page.
  9. Sorry: We booked it for two nights, Check in Thursday, May 12th, check out Saturday, May 14th, 2011. Thanks for the reminder!
  10. Bid $42/nt for 3* hotel in Sacramento (Roseville-Folsom) area, and was turned down, but Priceline countered with $55/nt. Declined the counter offer, and expanded bid to include the Parkway-Florin area of Sacramento (no 3* hotels), and increased to $45/nt. Won the Hyatt Place-Roseville for total with taxes and fees of $55/nt. I used the PRICELINE link at the top of this page to place the bid.
  11. You will still receive the breakfast buffet... All Holiday Inn Expresses include the buffet in their rate regardless of how you book. This property is only about a year old... and it is attached to a water park. Stayed here last year for one night and enjoyed my stay. Rooms with 2 beds can be a little tight though FYI. Thanks for the inside information, I'm sure my kids will be thrilled it's attached to a water park!
  12. Formerly 2*, now a 2.5*, Holiday Inn Express and Suites in West Valley, Salt Lake City, Utah One night July 17, 2010 for $40, comparable Expedia rate is $103 but says it includes a Breakfast Buffet: we'll see. I was trying for the Country Inn & Suites so bid $40 based on previous history. Won the Holiday Inn Express on first bid..., don't know if I could have gone lower? I used the PRICELINE link at the top of the page to place the bid.

  15. Bid for a 2.5* hotel in the Sacramento, CA area of Roseville/Rocklin because all of the 2.5* hotels included breakfast. Started at $40 - Rejected. Included University area (which doesn't have any hotel greater than a 2*) and raised my bid to $42 - Accepted by the 3* Marriott Courtyard Roseville (different then the Marriott Courtyard Galleria - Creekside which isn't rated too well with Trip Advisor). No breakfast, but a great deal on a good hotel. Placed my winning bid using the PRICELINE link provided by BetterBidding above.
