  10. Hello, My back up hotel is Loew's Regency on Park Avenue. Positives: 1. Close to finish and easy for my husband to maneuver about Manhattan to see me running 2. I am getting the Midtown bus at 7 am from the Library and can walk to the library. 3. Guaranteed King bed Negatives: 1. Expensive: Right now Loews is about 2300 for the 5 night stay. I am looking around to see if I can find something that satisfies above requirements, but cheaper :) As far as Star rating... 4-5* ( hesitant to use Priceline due to wide range of 4* hotels.) Which is why I am looking at Hotwire and areas listed above. Any advice on areas/ places? We usually stay in Jersey City when visiting New York and take PATH in. (My sister lived in Jersey City). This will be our first time actually staying in the city, and my first time running the marathon ! Thank you for your help M

I finally started at 160 and added bid zones adding $5 to 175 with no luck then went to 182 and won the Outrigger. I wish it would have been cheaper, but it seems like this week is particularly expensive :) The parking is 35 per night... any suggestions for cheaper parking??? Does anyone know of a cheaper place to park around the HHV?? Thanks :)
  22. Just wanted to give an update...... LOVED the Sheraton. While the rooms were basic and kind of blah they were very clean. We had partial city/ ocean view. Rumfire was awesome. The infinity pool was AWESOME .. the bean bags are genius and a gorgeous view of diamond head from the pool...... and where we spent most of our time. :) They did a GREAT job with the exterior and outdoor renovations........ rooms were ok. We hope to get Sheraton when we go back.... also the resort fee includes self park which is nice
  23. YES sorry, I did not notice those amenities initially.... the roll- in shower and handicapped parking were listed :)
