  1. I just read lots of reviews and despite the cheap price I'll wait a bit and see if I can find something better for this one night stay. I can stay anywhere from Fll to Mia but would really like a cheap but clean deal on the beach.
  2. Amentites listed: Beachfront, airport shutle, fitness centre, pool (s), Restaurant, Business, Self serve laundry, internet access, kitchenette. 1 night, 1 room for 2 adults. Hotel has 70% approval rating. $88.00 plus $19.78 tax and recovery fee. There is an estimated $10 service fee payable at hotel We are looking for clean but cheap accomodation for one night pre-cruise and will only be arriving around midnight. I will of course use your Hotwire link should we decide to book.
  3. As I suspected, I got the Sheraton for my one night stay in the Burlington area. This is for a Christmas party that we attend and don't want to drive home . We got the same hotel last year too. The amenities listed were :Free parking Pet friendly Indoor pool(s) Airport shuttle Smoke-free rooms Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business center Internet access Golf nearby It was the 'pet friendly' that gives it away. I really like the pool at this hotel and the airport shuttle guy has kindly driven us downtown for a few bucks rather than calling a cab (he offered to pick us up too but we got a ride). Hope this helps somebody else.
  4. Thanks for the suggestion. We always call the hotel a day or two before arrival when booking through 3rd party websites even when it is not a late arrival just to make sure the reservation went through and to make any special requests. By doing this we have often gotten what we were hoping for. Maybe it was just luck but maybe it helps.
  5. Just got the Radisson using PRICELINE EXPRESS for $93 plus tax and fee for total of $112. It is cleary indicated there will be a resort fee to pay at the hotel (this was clear before purchase). I was 99% sure of hotel thanks to these boards. The hotel has some 'iffy' reviews but I just wanted a cheap place for one night pre-cruise. We don't land till after mid-night and we plan to board the ship by noon. The icons were: pool, restaurant, fitness, internet, business. Of course, I used the PRICELINE link from Betterbidding.
  6. The list of amenities is as follows: Free Parking Free Breakfast Free Internet Pet friendly Fitness Center Pool(s) Business Center Self service laundry Internet access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Wheelchair accessible Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower. There was an 85% Customer satisfaction rating. I suspected this was the Best Western based on amenities posted on the 'pinned' list. Thanks guys! Of course I used the link for HOTWIRE from this site.
  7. No, Golf was not an amenity. The pet friendly room was how I suspected it was the Sheraton. I had read about this on their website. I love the pool area at this hotel so even if the rooms are a bit tired, at this rate it's all good. Plus they have a great brunch on Sunday mornings.
  8. Just booked the Sheraton in Burlington VT for one night on Dec. 21st for $69. Came to $83.00 CAD with tax and Service for 2 Adults and one child. This is the hotel I suspected and wanted so I am happy with the purchase. Icons: Free parking, Fitness center, Pool, Pet friendly, indoor pool, internet available, restaurant, business center and smoke free rooms. The satisfaction rating was only 75% which also led me to believe it would be the Sheraton. Sorry post is in CAD but that's what I booked it in. It was 2 dollars cheaper without adding child but I wanted to be sure there were 2 beds. The golf icon that is often present for the Sheraton was not there but the pet friendly icon was, this was what led me to believe it was the Sheraton. We will not however be bringing our dog. We have stayed here before and they kindly shuttled us to downtown to attend the dinner party. Hopefully they'll do it again. Of course I used the HOTWIRE link on this site.
  9. Success with the Hilton Condado @ $147.00 per night. When I used your BiddingHelper.com it gave me a rate of $155.00 but I was able to easily see all the icons so I went back to the regular booking HOTWIRE link (in your post) and the $147.00 per night was still there. Also, new to Hotwire, not only did they mention the resort fee that will be payable at hotel but they gave me an estimated amount. Thanks for your help!
  10. I need help identifying a 4* for an arrival of 27th of Feb 2 nights. $147.00 90% satisfaction Free Internet Near Beach Oceanfront hotel Casino Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Self service laundry I think it is the Hilton Condado but I'd like another opinion. It seems to come up at the same price if I put 2 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids (no kids with us). Edit: seems there are lots more amenities but it won't let me cut and paste: Golf nearby, handicap parking, roll in shower, accessible parking, in room accessibility, Tennis nearby, spa service, blind and deaf accessible. Hopefully, I got them all.
  11. One night stay Providence: Smoke Free, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Golf Near-by, Tennis Near-by. $99.00 Plus tax Very happy with this win!
  12. Not sure why room rate was xx'ed out in title. $76.00 per night x 2 + 22.90 tx & s = $174.90 grand total for both nights Like I said, used HOTWIRE link from this board.
  13. Amenities ; Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center 95% Customer satisfaction I was pretty sure it was the Hilton and not the Sheraton because it was missing the golf icon. Just happy it wasn't the Doubletree. We have stayed at the Hilton before and although the rooms are a bit small it is a nice hotel and well located. Like the Sheraton too but it is fun to be downtown. Of course, used the HOTWIRE link on this web-site.
  14. One night pre-cruise at the Hyatt Place North for Feb. 26th. 2 Adults, 2 children. Rate $109 + stuff = $127 Icons were: Shuttle, Non-Smoking, Breakfast, Gym, Pool, Computer, High Speed. I was 99.9% sure of this before booking, my husband has stayed here before and enjoyed it very much. Yes, I used your link to HOTWIRE to make the booking. Love this web-site!
  15. Less than the two hours later they promised I received the following reply: As a result of this rating change, I have added 60.00 HotDollars to your account. You can use HotDollars to book any flight, hotel, or Hotwire hot Rate car rental reservation on the Hotwire site. Each one is equivalent to one U.S. dollar in value and is available for one year from the date of issuance; Seems a bit low, but as I only paid $92.00 per night I guess I can't complain.
  16. Thanks, They did not notify me. I have sent an e-mail to Hotwire Customer Care and I will post back their response. A few hot Dollars would be nice...... At this point I do not really want to change hotels as I have made arrangements for transfers and meeting people.
  17. I have reserved 4 nights in Prague from May 3rd-7th using HOTWIRE. When I bid the hotel was 5 star, I got the Riverside Mamaison Hotel (win posted on this board as always). I have noticed that it has now been downgraded to a 4.5* . I have scoured the Hotwire website to see if they do anything about this but found nothing. What is their policy? Anybody have any experience similar and what did Hotwire do? Thanks in advance.
  18. Thanks to previous poster I got the Prague Riverside Mamaison Hotel for our upcoming stay. 4 nights @ $92.00 total $418.00 with tx and service. icons: Boutique Hotel Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Reviews overall are very good so it should be fine and I am happy being right on the river even if it is a bit of a walk to the tourist areas. Not a great deal from Hotwire as the rate is only 80 Euro per night on Mamaison website, which works out to about $450.00, so not the 43% saving Hotwire says I got. Despite this, I am still satisfied and used the HOTWIRE link from this site as always to make my booking. Now if someone could just pin the Salzburg hotels.
  19. Bid $59.00 for 3.5 star hoping to get the Doubletree or the Marriott. Previous bids of $56, 57 and $59 were refused. $59.00 did get response of "increase your bid by $17" which I did not do as I had plenty of time. Win is for the Westin SFO and was an upgrade. "Your Price Was Accepted Congratulations, we
  20. Is this the airport Crown Plaza? Is it now a 3.5 * ? Previous wins had it as a 3* as does the pinned hotel list. I have been bidding (failed so far) 3.5* for Dec. 11th but might change to 4* to avoid this hotel. Was hoping for the Doubletree or the Marriott. Highest bid so far was $59.00 and received the $17.00 offer to raise but decided to wait a bit as I am very early for December.
  21. Success again! Maybe it is possible to get this for a few dollars less but I am very happy at this price. With tax and service it came to $94.22 USD for a one night stay. Now if someone could just post some good deals for Melbourne that would be great. Used the PRICELINE link from this site as always.
  22. Success on first bid! Sydney Marriott 4* for 4 nights starting Nov. 16th. Bid 78$ X 4, plus 44.78$ tx and booking. Total $356.77 I'm hoping that with our Marriott rewards status we can convince them to give us an early check-in as our flight arrives at 8 AM. And maybe a room with a view of the park??? (Am I dreaming?) This was definitely my first choice for Sydney despite some mixed reviews on Tripadvisor. The fridge is a big plus for us. Of course used your link for PRICELINE bids.
  23. I thought the Syndey Marriott Harbour was a 5 star. Are you sure it is not the regular Sydney Marriott. I am getting ready to bid for November so have been watching everything to do with Sydney and Melbourne.
  24. I noticed that someone had finally got the Courtyard Marriott Beach in March of 09. We got this hotel twice in 2008 and really like it so was waiting for some wins before bidding. First bid 3* Beach zone $92.00 refused. Added free bid zone Airport North and bid $100.00 accepted by the Yankee Clipper. Total with taxes and fees $119.89. This will be fine for us at this price for one night pre-cruise. Staying at the Marriot Beach Harbour post cruise using points. Used the link to PRICELINE on this board.
