Having said that the Westin resort fee seems to compare to what Hotwire is quoting for same

I cant find a 4 star or 4.5 star hotel in times square with self service laundry so I am confused .

Booked a 3* hotel in Dundee United Kingdom using the HOTWIRE link and got the Holiday Inn Express.Facilities were Business centre and Restaurant(s)
Booked 4* hotel in Aberdeen Scotland and received the Copthorne hotel. Facilities were restaurant and smoke free rooms. Used the HOTWIRE link. Tripadvisor rating 3/5 while not great hotel is very close to city and free parking 
Just added a night to my stay in the hotel using the new Hotwire feature "add to stay" and booked to arrive on the 11th of july with the additional night costing $106
The 3.5 star property could be either the sheraton or the Hilton Boston Back Bay but I would lean more to it being the Sheraton due to the number of wins of late with this hotel and with the 4 star hotel my best guess would be the Westin Copley Place.

Just in an update on my stay there is no restaurant at this hotel I was in touch with HOTWIRE express who issued me with $50 HotDollars credit so I would not expect to see the restaurant icon in the future however the breakfast was complmentry so perhaps this icon may now show :)

You may be interested to know that a 4* with those amenities is now showing at $129 for your dates.I was searching for similar dates and saw it for a similar price. Because the Crowne Plaza has been going in the $180s lately, I searched your dates to see if the price for mine was a fluke or a possible error. But it looks as though rates really are down.
Hotels often lower their rates as they get closer to the dates in question (though of course they could raise them too, or even stop making rooms available to PL and HW -- it depends on what they think their occupancy rate will be). If this is indeed the same hotel you saw yesterday, it may be an instance of this.
We don't know for sure that this is the Crowne Plaza, but it's a good match given the data we have. Further, I don't think there are any real clinkers among the 4* Times Square hotels that have shown up on Hotwire lately. I'd probably be happy with any of them, especially at prices like these.
I noticed tripadvisor have 414 reveiws on the crowne plaza not 420+ as stated on hotwire's site so keep this in mind if you really want the crowne plaza
