  1. Nevermind. Pretty sure I found it. I think it is the Verb Hotel. A little farther away than I was wanting. Thanks.
  2. Trying to figure this hotel out. 3.5-star Boutique Hotel in Copley Square - Back Bay area Fri, Apr 13 - Tue, Apr 17 1 Room, 2 Adults, 1 Child 85% recommended Great! (40 reviews) (2001+ reviews) 3.5-star hotel $388 Complimentary Free breakfastFree Internet Amenities Boutique hotelFitness centerPet friendlyPool(s)Restaurant(s)Smoke-free rooms Thanks, Nathan
  3. Messed around and didn't book the Vdara when I checked on it a few weeks ago at $80 a night and it is up to $138 now. Booked MGM with it's standard set of options for $91 a night since we will be attending the Josh Groban concert there anyway on the 20th. Casino, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-Speed Internet Access, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby, Spa Services. I used the HOTWIRE link to book and I also used the PRICELINE link when I messed around bidding on the Vdara and quit when I got to $92. (One bid at $86 and one at $92). Thanks for the service!
  4. Just added a rental car via priceline as well. $21/day on priceline for a midsize. Not much savings over hotwire which was $23 per day but for a 3 day rental that's $6! :) Used the better bidding links to book the car too.
  5. Used the links and booked on priceline for my first time ever. I've used Hotwire a few times before but I'm pretty sure this is my first successful bid on priceline. Hotwire was showing $93 so I thought I would mess around with Priceline a little. Seems that Treasure Island is about the only 4 star Strip North hotel regularly showing up on either so felt confident and even if I missed it wasn't a requirement to stay there anyway. Bid first at $76 and didn't get it so I added North area Condo (pretty easy change since there aren't any 4 star hotels in that area so I was essentially rebidding on North Strip) and bid $81 and was accepted. Saved $36 + some taxes for the 3 night stay over Hotwire and $114 + taxes over the rate on Expedia which was $119 per night. Not a bad rate for a weekend, even with the extra $17 resort fee that Treasure Island is now charging.
  6. Okay, so it lists the Vistana Villages. But they are showing as a 3.5* and they still aren't listed as being in the Orlando I-Drive South zone.If you don't know the name of the resort, how would you know to search for them to find them as a result if they aren't listed in the zone you are looking in? This just seems to be a daunting task. I'm glad I'm not keeping up with those lists though!
  7. Sorry to keep bringing this up but I'm still confused. Here's the Hotwire Hotel List. There are only 3 4* properties listed and the only one with a Condo amenity is the Vista Cay. I don't see the Sheraton Vistana Villages as an option for this area.
  8. Vista Cay is the only 4* condo on the list for Seaworld I-Drive South. The amenities listed above aren't a perfect match but it still seems to be pretty close. I got some similar amenities listed when I was searching and it seems like the only 4* condo in Seaworld I-Drive South is Vista Cay and several have reported a few different amenities. Sheraton Vistana Villages is listed as being in Lake Buena Vista - Downtown Disney. How could it be that? I thought that the zones would be set in stone. Are there places that can be listed in more than one zone? Should it be noted that they can be in both zones instead of only listed in one of them? :) :)
  9. Well, I took the plunge and went ahead and booked it. I got the Rosen Shingle Creek!! I ended up saving $563.08 (including estimated taxes) for my 4 night stay! ($95/night + tax vs. the AICPA discounted group rate of $219/night + tax) The only mistake I made was that I forgot to use the HOTWIRE link from Better Bidding!! :) :) Sorry guys! I really appreciate the site and I think based on my first 2 experiences using it that I will continue to be a regular user and will be booking many more stays through your PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links. Thanks, Nathan
  10. Based on the list it looks like that is pretty much a slam dunk for Vista Cay. I'll add the disclaimer that there are no guarantees with HOTWIRE though.
  11. Thanks for the input. If I knew it wasn't the Rosen Shingle Creek I would probably opt for the 4* condo instead which I think is Vista Cay. I tried the dates for the conference (I'm just planning on staying 1 extra night) and it shows up the same. Last week the 4* hotel that kept coming up was the Monumental. If the Rosen Plaza has been downgraded to 3.5* it sure looks like it is the Rosen Shingle Creek. No idea on the beds, the conference that I would be attending is the AICPA National Employee Benefit Conference and usually has about 1,000 attendees. I guess the Rosen Shingle Creek must be a pretty large property. The Hotwire rate would save me over $500 on a 4 night stay. ($95/night vs. $229/night) Decisions, decisions....
  12. I'm looking at hotels in Orlando and really would like to be confident that I'm booking the Rosen Shingle Creek. It is a perfect match with fitness, pool, restraunt, business, internet and golf. I'll be attending a conference that is being held at the Rosen Shingle Creek that timeframe and they are $229/night booking with the discounted conference rate. It is a pretty large conference so I would think that they wouldn't have a bunch of extra rooms to put on hotwire but who knows. I wouldn't have to stay at the Rosen Shingle Creek but that would make things much easier. It is giving me a rate of $95/night. I was suprised on my last booking where the Wynn left some of the ammenities off the listing and I thought I was booking the Venetian but ended up with the Wynn. What do you think the chances are that this is really the Rosen Plaza and they just left off the laundry amenity? Thanks, Nathan
  13. It's funny because I was hoping for Ventian or Bellagio and have been searching the last couple days and then today the 5 star on the central strip showed up without the golf ammenity on the dates I was wanting to book so I jumped on it. Price was right in line with with what I was seeing before and it still ended up being the Wynn. Still not a bad hotel for $153/night for the weekend that most of the hotels are charging a premium on. I started out looking at Paris and they were $330 on Saturday 4/25 on their reservation site. I did use the HOTWIRE links from this site and appreciated the input from everyone. I ended up booking the Wynn from 4/24 to 4/27 for $153/night. The ammenities shown were: casino, fitness, pool, restraunt, buisness & spa. I really thought I had a good chance at the Ventian or Bellagio with those amenities shown, but like you said, it's not a guarantee. Thanks for the site!
