  1. FYI, On priceline NYOP, the same downtown Toronto southwest zone (#5), your date range plus a day, a $115/night bid failed...but I think $116 may have been accepted. Also on NYOP, it says its a at least a "7.0+" rating but gives the Fairmont a 8.5 rating while the Sheraton has a 7.6 rating so just know that's a possibility. If I move forward with booking I will share my results in my own thread.
  2. Unfortunately it jumped up to $104/night so a grand total so $321 but mystery solved...At there bottom it shows "View published rate hotels in the same area as the Hot Rate® Hotel you've searched." which shows the SLS with 3.0 out of 5.0...I'm not planing to book at $104, if it goes down again and I book it I'll report back.
  3. Wynn appears to be on HOTWIRE right now for $84/night for your dates; same amenities listed HERE
  4. Used your HOTWIRE link and biddinghelper for amenities: Free parking, Free Internet, Boutique hotel, Casino, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Spa services Says last booked was the SLS...80% recommended but what's throwing me off is hotwire says this offering has a tripadvisor rating is 3.0 out of 5.0 with 1001-1500 reviews...But you go to the SLS on tripadvisor and it states the SLS is 3.5 out 5.0 with 3228 reviews...The SLS opened in August 2014 or over 3 years ago, so an annual average of 1000 tripadvisor reviews to get to 3228 reviews, so could hotwire's data be over a year outdated? I've found it be 100% accurate in the past... $75.00 per night x 2 nights x 1 room $150.00 Tax recovery charges + fees $34.92 Promo Code Hotwire total due today (USD) $184.92 Resort fee due at hotel $64.00 Trip total (USD)$248.92
  5. Used bidding helper for the amenities which were the same as regular hotwire: FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Fitness center, Self-service laundry, Internet access then booked using the HOTWIRE link on here I'll share that I looked at PRICELINE EXPRESS and they had a cheaper 5* their zone which was slightly different but had resort fees and included an airport shuttle (Banke currently doesn't charge nor does it have a airport shuttle); just an FYI for those searching the zone I'll also share there was a bed choice, in many other Paris zones in that price range that had bed choices you only had a "double bed" option while this zone/hotel had both the option of a "double bed" and a "queen bed" so that helped my decision with hotel selection because if it truly is a double bed (standard double length is 74") I'm too tall to sleep in it comfortably If booking directly at the hotels website, even with a 10% off early bird discount at today's exchange rate was $477 USD $312.00 ($156.00 per night x 2 nights x 1 room) Coupon applied$10.00 (was not a "hotrate" which could have given me $30 off) Taxes & fees$64.55 Trip total (USD)$366.55 Trip total per night (USD)$183.28
  6. Used you're PRICELINE link and did PRICELINE EXPRESS for my original $187 4* and got the outrigger reef! Thanks for your help!
  7. Ok, thank you, I thought you might like to keep HW/PL separated but I'll do this in the future!
  8. Used your PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links, also posted a PLE thread but am wanting Hotwire to see the options...Using your biddinghelper site (which gives different pricing than your link for some reason?) to get the full amenities: There are three 4*s in the Waikiki Beach zone: $186/$191: New to hotwire...FULL AMENITIES: Near beach, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower...No mention of resort fee...85% & 4.0/5.0 2001+ Hyatt/Moana? $182/$181: FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Beachfront hotel, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Spa services, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible bathroom...$60/resort fees ($30/day) 85% & 4.5/5.0 2001+ Sheraton/Outrigger? $165/$160: Boutique Hotel...FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Boutique hotel, Near beach, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower...No mention of resort fee, bed choice...75% & 4.0/5.0 1001-1500+ Waikiki Parc?
  9. That's the one, thanks! I'm going there those dates (have a cruise which departs on 8/27) just mulling over my options...Will follow up once I figure it out
  10. Used your PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links... Greatly appreciated if you could help when you get a chance...For PLE the heart and most of the marina are one zone, for hotwire it's broken into two zones...Only one 4* offering on hotwire which is oceanfront and "near beach" but not beach front. Overall I'm happy with different hotels but did want beach front. For PLE, Currently showing $187/night...Amenities: Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking 8 out of 10 guest score I'm thinking Hilton Village or the Outrigger
  11. Used your PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links, started at hotwire and saw an Union Square East 4* for $114/night so I figured I'd bid on priceline up to $113/night. Bid in one dollar increments and won at $111/night. Total with all fees and taxes $401.43, lowest price I could book directly was $612.03
  12. going to skip this vacation unless both airfare & hotel rates go way down, if that happens I'll update
  13. Trying to avoid the Trump and I do know if it shows a casino its the only absolute way and no matter what I'm told, there no way to guarantee I want get a certain hotel...I'm just trying to see if there are any other triggers...Dates are 7/29-7/31. I used your BiddingHelper.com on a Hotwire 5* north property to determine a $135/night offering is indeed the trump which is the cheapest offering...Next strip north 5* offers are $189/night...Alternatively I do see there is a PRICELINE EXPRESS option for $168 which seems to be a Palazzo or Venetian On PRICELINE NYOP, the amenities are I/O Pool, restaurant, fitness, business center and 8 out of 10...Is there any history of a priceline wins with these amenities/rating?
  14. I'm getting the exact same amenities for a month later (7/29-7/31), but it says 9.0+...How just curious how you can tell the difference in amenities/ratings between the Venetian and the Palazzo? I know if you get one at check they MAY allow you to get a room at the other.
  15. What's funny is I'm looking into the exact same weekend...There's a north strip on HOTWIRE for $135/night but has no casino so would most likely be Wynn/Trump...
  16. Used the PRICELINE link, bid in one dollar increments and won at $104. Room Subtotal:$208.00 Taxes & Fees:$44.50 Total Charged:$252.50 IF booked directly from the Holiday Inn site, their cheapest prepay/non-refundable rate is $ 429.70
  17. With the limited info you gave, looking like the "Sheraton Downtown Denver Hotel"...Overall nice and great location being at right on the 16th mall but yet towards of the busy area so it's a pretty quiet location; is just boring...Personally, I'd prefer the lower starred Embassy Suites the Hyatt Place, Courtyard or even the Holiday Inn Express with have more contemporary rooms
  18. It's no biggie because even if I can't extend I can simply do a separate booking... Slight change, $125 3* appears on hotwire, and it could very well be an unlisted Holiday Inn Express based on the trip advisor average and number of reviews... Obviously annoying that HW/PL shift around zones...
  19. Going to Denver that weekend and wanted to share...It's unusually expensive but who knows, perhaps there's an event going on... What's unfortunate is I bid and won back in 2013, on a Downtown Denver hotel, the Ramada which is really in a shady part of town and is too far of a walk to 16th street...It's offered on HW for $69/night ($257 total) I see a lot of people on here are bidding on 3* and getting the Aloft which would be great but I'm nervous about winning the Ramada...There's a 5* on hotwire for $153 ($570 total) which I guess is my backup, but I would love a non-Ramada 3* for no more than $400 total for the 3 nights... Thinking of bidding on a Downtown Denver 3* for just Thursday starting at $65...If I get the Ramada it's one night only not the worst thing; if I get a hotel I want like Aloft, I will see if extending the days is approved and if not, bid for a fri and sat and hope to get the same...
  20. Used the PRICELINE link; was really surprised I got this on the first bid for a Saturday night on the weekend after st pattys day despite bidding on a 3.5 and getting the upgrade; showed swimming, fitness and business center...I would have bid even lower had I known! If booked directly, would be: $337.18 Bid: $90.00 Tax: $18.63 Total: $108.63
  21. Round two! FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Indoor pool(s), Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Internet access
  22. Round 2 if you want to edit: FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Business center, Internet access, In-room accessibility, Accessible parking
  23. Used HOTWIRE Free Internet, indoor pool(s), fitness center, smoke free room(s), pool(s)...no recommendation %, did say weekend deal...I have confirmed no more amenities Was: $268 fees $65.66 total: $333.66 if booking directly it's $512.96 so it was a nice savings
