  1. Lexington Hotel & Conference Center, Saint George, UT Total = $71.72 Was expecting to get the Crystal Inn& Suites, but we'll see how this place is. Used BB HOTWIRE link.
  2. $50 + 14.02 (tax) =$64.02 Radisson (215 W. South Temple) used betterbidding PRICELINE link
  3. This is now a 2.5* property, probably recently upgraded because it is listed on Betterbidding as a 2* and a fairly recent win listed it as a 2*. The lobby and rooms (excluding bath) appear to be recently remodeled. $40 + 12.70 (tax)=$52.70 The check in date was Sept. 2, 2010 used better bidding PRICELINE link
  4. I bid in a lower star level trying to get the Fairfield in Sparks which had received good reviews. I was "upgraded" to this hotel and casino. Was trying to avoid casino hotels so am not so happy. Also, I have read that this hotel charges an additional $5 resort fee and gets a fair number of negative reviews. Usually Priceline is great, but this one didn't turn out so well. Maybe it will exceed my expectations. Went through Better Bidding PRICELINE link. $11.97 tax, toal $46.97
  5. Would have preferred Union Square area, but prices were higher for 3* and up. Used the Better Bidding PRICELINE link.
  6. After a number of lower bids, was accepted at $90 for 3.5* in White House-Downtown zone. Subtotal: $180.00 Tax: $34.16 Total: $214.16 Used the better bidding PRICELINE link. Thanks for a great website!
  7. Is there any way of maximizing my chance of getting the Bethesda Hyatt Regency when bidding in the Bethesda-South Rockville zone for a 3.5* hotel for Nov. 2-4? I am interested in the hotel because of its proximity to the metro subway station, as I won't have a car. It appears there are six 3.5* hotels included on the posted list of Priceline hotels for Bethesda-S. Rockville zone. However,Hyatt Regency seems to appear frequently in the list of winning bids. Also, I don't see a Priceline zone identified spefically as Bethesda-S. Rockville, though that is how the winning bids are identified in this forum? Thank you.
  8. I tried lower bids first but as others had reported, $60 was accepted.
  9. Seattle Northgate - near Univ. of Washington (Zone 11) Holiday Inn Express Suites Northgate - 2.5 stars check-in: 4/27/09 check-out: 4/28/09 $55 $15.48 tax $70.48 total first bid
