  1. I'm having trouble with the Bidding.Helper. When I go to the Easy View tab it's just blank.
  2. Used the Bidding.Helper and trying to decide between Priceline North Michigan Ave. - River North, 4.5*, free internet, business center, pets allowed, fitness center at $353/night or Hotwire Magnificent Mile North - Water Tower area boutique hotel, free internet, pet friendly, fitness center, restaurant, business center at $407/night. Any help on what these might be? Thanks!
  3. It's a nice property. Much more up to date then the Benson, which we have also received on PL. I think you'll like the Westin.
  4. Opening bid was $105. Added Lake Union for a free rebid at $110 and got the downtown Sheraton. I hadn't seen a 4* in downtown for less than $135 recently, so I'm pleased.
  5. If I'm out in Manhattan at night and don't want to take the PATH back to Jersey City, will I be able to get a taxi, and how much will it cost? It looks like it's very close to the Holland tunnel, but I know that taxis don't like to go to Jersey.
  6. Amenities are: restaurant, fitness center, high speed internet, business center On the betterbidding hotel list, under 3.5* in downtown Columbus the only hotel that comes up is the Wyndham Playhouse. I think this is a typo, as I looked on the Wyndham site and it seems that hotel is actually in Cleveland. Any ideas as to what this 3.5* may be? (Hyatt, which has come up as a 4*, has a rate of $165 for that weekend on their site).

  8. We were disappointed in this hotel. The public areas were nice, but the room was 2* at best, by US standards. We have also stayed at Le Meridien Etoile, which is a much nicer hotel, and also a 4* on PL. The only advantage of the Novotel is location. The area around it is pretty seedy, but about as central as you can get in Paris.
  9. tried Opera Quarter West and La Defense first, from $100-$120. got nervous because i won't have internet access for a couple of weeks before the stay, so started at $120 in Opera Quarter East and got this. Your Offer Price: $120.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $120.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $15.69 Total Charges: $135.69
  10. It's the Hilton NY. We checked out rates at a number of places before bidding and found that rates for labor day weekend were significantly lower than for the previous weekend.
  11. I don't have all the details, because a friend bid this for us. We started at $80 and went to $85 for our second bid. The bid was for two rooms over labor day weekend. I was hoping that this would be a slow weekend and that we could go a little lower, but overall I'm pleased with this.
  12. Yes, Downtown Denver. Forgot to include in original post. :)
