  1. Complete list of amenities: Free parking Free breakfast Smoke-free rooms Pool(s) Business center Self-service laundry Accessible for visually impaired Accessible for hearing impaired Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Accessible parking
  2. $41/N + $13.35 taxes on 4/5 $59/N + $16.37 taxes on 4/6 Free Parking, Free Breakfast Smoke free rooms, Pool, Business Center, Self-service Laundry Am disappointed as I was expecting the Comfort Inn (which is in line with past wins.) Added a second night and the rate increased to $59 with higher taxes for the next night. Initially when I tested the water the rate was $41/N for the 2 nights... and then checked rates again after booking same $41/N for the 2 nights! I don't know why the daily rate was so much more when I added a second night.
  3. Just won this hotel. Woohoo! Just in the nick of time b/c last day to cancel this hotel booked thru orbitz at $169/N was today. Started at $90/N. I believe last rejected bid before win was $115/N, so in retrospect a bid b/w $116-$124/N may have won. The hotel gets mixed reviews, but am happy with this win. Would have preferred a hotel on the Kohala Coast, but was way too pricy for me. In any case, Kona area is nearer many of the snorkeling sites. And, yes used the PRICELINE link on this site.
  4. Won at $49/night ($60.53 total including taxes & fees). Amenities shown: Free Parking Free Breakfast Free Internet Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities (self-service) As always used the BB HOTWIRE link. Tried for several days on priceline for 3* in same area (rebid zone: Allentown/Dorneyville) at a max price of $46, but no success. Wanted to score old four Points Sheraton/renamed Days Hotel b/c it's closest to Blue Mtn and we've stayed there before.
  5. Indoor pool, Fitness Ctr, Rest, Spa, Free Parking. Located in Glens Falls. $85.52 total including taxes & fees.
  6. First try booking a hotel in SJ and won on third try. Started at $70, went up by $5, and won at $80. I didn't expect to win this quickly... my trip is more than 5+ months away. Am aware of $15/day resort fee and $15/day parking fee. Research indicates if I rent a car from Avis then parking fees are waived. I've been to Gran Melia website, and other travel sites, and have seen no mention of a resort fee. I have gone so far as to making a dummy reservation on Gran Melia (stopped just short of putting in payment info) and still no mention of a resort fee. Has anyone had success in having the resort fees removed by arguing that the fees were not disclosed during booking?
  7. Just won bid of $62/N for the Hyatt Grand Cypress resort in LBV Orlando. Used the PRICELINE link on this website. Great price for a great hotel.
  8. This message may be too late for you since you're probably back from your cruise already. I hear that the Country Inns Elizabeth on Glimcher Realty Way is a great option for cruisers. Available on HOTWIRE and PRICELINE. They offer a Stay and cruise option. Booked directly it's about $120 for one night and $35 per week to park. And there's free RT shuttle service to the port or airport. That certainly less than parking at the Port. Will likely try them out this spring for our cruise out of Bayonne.
  9. Have been bidding for weeks. Unsuccessful at $65, then rebid by adding airport zone and incr price to $70.
  10. Used the PRICELINE link on this site and just won Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress. started at $75, rebid at $2 increments w/ free zones won at $89/N (plus $15/N resort fee) $312.62 + $45 resort fee = 357.62 total for 3 nights This price sure beats my cancellable rate I booked this morning at a Disney Value resort that came to $455 for the same dates. Woohoo! Theruare, thanks for your help.
  11. Wow! That rebidding.com site sure is detailed- it takes a lot more patience that I have to try all those iterations. I used the PRICELINE link from this site and started re-bidding, one question - I can't seem to DESELECT a zone from a previous attempt, but can add on to, i.e., DW vic, DW vic + DT Orl, DW vic + DT Orl + Kiss, etc. - not the way the rebidding.com site suggests. What am I doing wrong? Is there no chance (or significantly low chance) of winning on a rebid by changing zones if I do NOT raise my price?
  12. First time bidding on PRICELINE. Am trying to land Omni or Hyatt Grand near WDW for 4/9-4/12, so far $65 and $75 bids have been rejected. Will try to rebid by adding zones next. If I am understanding PRICELINE's Orlando site correctly, only the Universal Studios zone has resorts and 4* hotels, so I can safely rebid by adding all zones except Universal Studios when trying for WDW resorts/4*? Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks
