  1. Went thru the BB PRICELINE link and identified 3 rebid zones (Delta, Pitts Meadow, White Rock) starting bid = $35 (rejected) added zone = $40 (rejected) added zone = $45 (accepted) Have stayed at other Holiday Inn locations for work and rooms are good. Very happy with this win.
  2. Thanks everyone for your help. I'm very very happy with the win! Turns out it was also Coast Coal Harbour despite it showing slightly different amenitites. Won this hotel. Please update the Hotwire Hotel List to assist others with the following amenities as it is different from the list. 90% recommended by Hotwire Customers. The Hotwire Listing shows the following amenities: Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower
  3. Are you able to go back into your HOTWIRE purchase and post your amenities list from your booking. If it indeed is coast coal harbour that will be great. Anybody else able to confirm this?
  4. Need assistance identifying this 4* property in Vancouver Downtown (Coal Harbour/Stanley). Used BB's link to HOTWIRE. Dates: April 22nd - April 26th Adults: 2 Children: 0 Price: $92USD 90% recommended by Hotwire Customers. Amenities: Fitness Restaurant(s) Business Center High Speed Internet Accessible for Deaf Accessible Path of Travel In-Room Accessibility Accessible Bathroom Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower My initial guess is Hyatt Regency, however Pool doesn't show up as a Amenity when comparing it to the Hotwire Hotel List and another poster who recently got this property. Any ideas what this could be? Debating whether or not to use Hotwire or PL right now. Trying to get a property in The Coal Harbour/Stanley Park area on PL and i'm already up to $90 with 5 re-bid zones.
  5. Went thru BB's HOTWIRE link and got the following Hotel The Sutton Place Hotel Vancouver List of Confirmed Amenities: Indoor Pools Fitness Center Pool Restaurant Business Center High Speed Internet Access Spa In-Room Accessibility Wheel Chair Access
  6. Went to Hotwire thru the BB link and need some assistance identifying this Hotwire hotel. Star: 5* (Sorry, please correct title to read 5*, can't seem to change it) Location: Vancouver Downtown Shopping and Entertainment District Dates: April 27th, 1 night 85% of Hotwire Customers Recommended Amenities: Indoor pool, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurants, Business Centre, Internet, Spa, In Room Accessibility, Wheelchair. My guess is the Sutton Hotel?
  7. I suspect that the 4* property is most likely the Pan Pacific Whistler considering that the Pan Pacific Whistler website shows similar amenities and has both studio and suite removes available. Thank you for your assistance. However, I have decided that I will be making my booking this time directly thru the Pan Pacific as they are running a promotion that offers the hotel for $209 that includes a $100 gift card value, making the hotel stay only $109. Seems like a pretty good value. Thanks, and I'll need to seek your assistance and book the remainder of my trip for the Vancouver portion.
  8. Thanks for the response thereuare! For the 4* condo, I am searching with the following parameters: Star rating: 4-star Check-in date: Fri, Apr 26 Check-out date: Sat, Apr 27 Adults: 2 Room: 1 Children: 0 I just tried the search again and am getting the same result as I initially posted. The big list of amenities show up when I click on the "Whistler Village area condo" and click on the new page, I click on "See all Amenities". See image. <link removed> <link removed>

  10. Trying to book a 1 night stay in Whistler. Followed the BB link to HOTWIRE. Any ideas what either one of these properties maybe. 11. Used the board PRICELINE links for all my attempted bids. Started from Bid $40 - rejected, Bid $45 - added rebid zone, rejected.. wait 24hrs Bid $50 - rejected, Bid $55 - added rebid zone, rejected.. wait 24hrs Bid $60 - rejected Bid $70 - added rebid zone, rejected.. wait 24hrs Bid $75 - rejected Bid $80 - accepted.. Got Meadowlands Plaza Hotel... I guess I should have just went with the Hotwire offer of $53 considering it's right next door. Not sure how this hotel stacks up to the Red Roof Inn that HW was offering. Doesn't seem to be in the most ideal location for transportation, at least the hotel has shuttle service to drop us off/pick us up from the nearby bus stops.
  12. Start at 2* level No. The Sheraton one would not be an option in that case.
  13. Ok, in that case. Let's just stick with the original two selections of Secaucus/North Bergen and Hoboken/Jersey City as the bidding zone.
  14. Okay, that sounds likes viable option. Let's consider Secaucus/North Bergen and Hoboken/Jersey City as possible bid zones. Hate to complicate this even more, but looking at hotels around Newark Airport on google maps it seems like commute time into manhattan is somewhat comparable to Secaucus in terms of time. Is that true?if so, maybe add this in as a re-bid zone?
  15. Thanks thereuare for your response! Ultimately, it would be amazing if there was free hotel parking in Manhattan with the cost being lower, however I know that will never happen. So ultimately, I'd prefer something close and convenient to Manhattan where I can take public transit over that's why I was first looking at Hoboken. However I am open for other suggestions, I did take a look at Secaucus and it doesn't look too much farther. Maximum bid I am looking at putting in is $75-80/night. If I'm paying $80, i'd prefer for the free parking and being in Hoboken. However, if it's less, like $60 or so, I wouldn't mind a little further like Secaucus. Desired stars would be 2* or 2.5*. Prefer not the 3.5* or higher as I find they generally charge for parking and receiving of parcels and I'd probably will have a number of parcels. Any strategies for bidding w/ Priceline? Separately, I noticed on Hotwire they have a hotel for around that same price point. Any ideas which one this is? Can't seem to find a similar match on the Hotwire list. 2* - Hoboken/Jersey City/North Bergen - $87/night for June 30th to July 2nd Amenities: High Speed Internet, Free Parking, Free Breakfast, Free Internet Cheers!
  16. Won my the next bid at $98 for the Westin Gaslamp Quarters in The downtown area of San Diego.
  17. Increased my bid from $95 to $98 and got the 4* Westin Gaslamp. Pretty happy with the hotel and it wasn't a long walk to the San Diego conference centre from the Westin Gaslamp hotel. Thanks
  18. Looking to book a hotel to stay between June 30th to July 2nd. Will be travelling into the city with a car, so I'd prefer a place that offers free parking but secure at the same time. Thinking of staying in Hoboken,NJ and communicating into Manhattan by public transit as many of suggested due to the traffic and higher cost. Put in an initial offer of $60 on Priceline for a 2* (i think it's Candlewood Suites) but was rejected. Any strategy? Most important for me is that they offer free parking and that I can get some stuff shipped from Amazon,eBay to the hotel with being charged extra. It seems like it's pretty easy to get to Manhattan from Hoboken, but how about Secaucus/Rutherford? I did notice there was a 2* offered on Hotwire in North Bergen with the following amenities: High Speed Internet, Free Parking, Comp. Breakfast, & Free Internet. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
  19. As a FYI my initial attempts were for 4* hotels in the area, since I have a conference near the San Diego Conference Centre that week. My max budget is probably around $125/night.
  20. Hi, Trying to book a hotel in Downtown and Harbour Island using Priceline for 02/17/12 thru 02/22/12. Tried from $60 up to $95 and no luck. Recently noticed that some other people won at ~$80-$90 but for January. Any suggestions?
