  1. I would definitely recommend taking a cruise out of Miami. They are usually cheaper and more variety. I personally love Royal Caribbean. Also, I'm not sure where you're flying from but I usually fly into Fort Lauderdale because it's considerably cheaper as well. You can easily take a shuttle straight to the Miami Port from FLL. Also, you can stay in Miami Beach or South Beach. If you stay in South Beach (Central, Collins Ave or Ocean Dr), you can walk to the main area with shopping and dining which is Lincoln Rd. There's also another small area called Espanola Way that's also close by. You can also stay in Miami Beach which is a quieter cleaner area, usually with beach access. And you can take the bus straight down to South Beach for 2 bucks (about 10 min).
  2. Ofcourse it's always a risk using PRICELINE. In the past year I have chosen 2* hotels in Dearborn 3 times and I got Extended Stay America all 3 times. Like we said, it's not a guarantee but it's a pretty good chance.
  3. Used the PRICELINE link. First time staying here, I am quite excited!
  4. Used the PRICELINE link. This is the first time I saw this hotel being posted. It is a GREAT hotel! Huge rooms with kitchen and living room, free dinner during social hour on the weekdays, free internet and free huge hot breakfast!
  5. I got the 2* Extended Stay America right next to Fairlane Mall. Pretty decent hotel with kitchen but they don't clean everyday. Forgot to use the PRICELINE link this time. sorry!
  6. I didn't end up getting a hotel thru priceline because my bids were rejected and I didn't want to go over my budget
  7. Hello, Just want advice on booking a room for 3 ppl. I know it is not a guarantee to sleep more than 2 so does anyone have any suggestions? Here is the info and preference: April 16-19 Beverly Hills-West Hollywood 3 people Is it too big of a risk with priceline or do most hotels in the area have 2 double beds? THanks!
  8. Hello, well I was just saying best because priceline says they have the best deal for 4 stars in that area. In either case, the SOHO information is really helpful. Thanks for the advice, I will start at $90 for MTE area and I won't forget to use the PRICELINE link! Thanks
  9. Hello, I want to stay in Manhattan from Feb.9-11 next month. I would prefer a 4 star hotel and I would prefer to stay in the SOHO area. However, I notice that most ppl are getting the best deals in MTE. Do you think I have a chance to stay in SOHO for 3.5/4* for around 100 dollars? If not, do you think if I go for the "best deal" (MTE-4*) it will be cheaper than $100? When I compared most people's winning bids, they were around 105 dollars for MTE-4* but they were for the weekend. Since I am going from Mon-Wed, I am hoping it would be cheaper. Does anyone have any suggestions on what bid I should start with in this category? Thank you
