Luxor didnt really interest me.... So I went a different route. As an FYI, I bid this afternoon on Priceline for a 4* in the Hollywood zone starting at $85 and using the 4 rebid zones up to $130 unsuccessfully (85, 100, 115, 130). I'm still considering a few areas and will decide tomorrow if I want to bid the same area again or add Santa Monica/West Hollywood/BH/Century City Westwood to my options.

I'd be happy with that.. I'm also considering a Priceline bid in that zone for a 4 star and wonder how much lower I might be able to get? I would be ok with any of the 4 stars that seem to have been previously won over there.

Started with $75 and won, guess I should have gone slightly lower but I couldnt find much to compare and I'm short on time. Happy enough with the location, I've stayed here countless times. $180 total with taxes/fees.
