Yes, you were right, it is listed as Dupont Circle - Woodley Park. I probably selected that one and did not recall I did it. I sincerely apologize for any confusions that might have caused.
I cannot remember as I was bidding several hotels simultaneously. My friend told me to bid for Foggy Bottom-Georgetown, the first bid of USD 90 was not successful, I thought I just changed the star rating and also my bid price. I won the bid in the second trial, did not recall I added a zone. I might be wrong though - recent schedule had been very hectic.
Thank you for the information. The prices listed seemed on the higher end, I ended bidding on PRICELINE through the link using USD 78 per night and obtained Hyatt Regency for which is one of my preference.
I was advised that Foggy Down - Georgetown area is safer that the listed area. I used PRICELINE with USD 85 and got Palomar by Kimpton, for which I am very pleased. Thank you very much for checking on the hotel listing for me.
Thank you for the information. The hotel is indeed Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh International Airport, it was listed as USD 68 per night when I booked.

Kind of worry in picking a hotel in the wrong area (especially I do not drive). Thanks.

Our group decided to leave at the end of the last day of conference (23 to 26 November), for which the 4* is not offered on Hotwire.com. I am not too comfortable with a 3.5* Wyndham Grand (too much bad experiences with a less than 4* hotel on Hotwire.com before). At the end, I bidded a hotel from 23 to 26 November at USD 130 per night for 4* on Priceline.com and ended up with Rennaissance Pittsburgh, which sounds a good deal to me.
I sincerely appreciate all the information and assistance, especially to thereuare, and apologize for not using Hotwire.com at the end instead. Sorry for all the troubles. Have a very pleasant week.
While searching for hotels this morning when I arrived in office, I realized there is a 4* hotel in downtown Pittsburgh, whcih sounds a good deal, running for USD 108 per night with the following amenities:

Thank you very much for the information. From trip advisor, the hotel seemingly not a too bad one.
Thank you very much for the response and the information therein. I got Wyndham Grand in several cities a few times and they were mostly listed as 4.5* or 4*. I am surprised this is listed as 3.5*. May be it is a run down property. I will be making the booking after the New Year holiday, the office lady left early today for the New Year holiday without activating my travel card :(, cannot make purchase until next week. Well report back afterward s. Thanks again and happy Thanksgiving.

I ended changing my plans: staying in Chicago on 6-7 and 11-12. I got the Allerton on Hotwire for USD 89 (USD 110 after tax) for 11-12 and got Hotel Sax for 6-7 through Priceline Express Deal at USD 136 (USD 160 after tax). Not the most ideal, given the price level this year, I guess this is the best I can do without too much bleeding from my wallet. In the past, 3 or 4 years ago, I never had troubles getting a (better) hotel in the same area at most at USD 100. Time has change everything, I guess. Let's pray that the hotels will give some good experience (and values).
In any case, thank you for all of your helps.
Thank you all for all the responses. It is time to get ready for my trips after a hectic week of exams. I ended up not booking last week, afraid of stucking at that 2 hotels.
I am seeing a different 4* hotel in Downtown Chicago - Millennium Park - Grant Park area, for 10 - 12 August, running for USD 123 per night plus tax with the following amenities:
Pet friendly,
High speed internet access

Handicapped parking
Smoke free rooms
Accessible to the blind
In-room accessibility
Roll-in shower
Restaurants
Accessible for the deaf
Accessible bathroom
I appreciate is anyone can identify this hotel for me. Thanks a lot.
I believe that is the one that I saw. If the two are Millenium and Intercontinental, I shall pass it out for now and see if other things becoming avaiable, I stayed at both of them and the experiences were not pleasant.
Is there a major conference/event in Chicago during that time? Hotel rates are very high comparing to what I got at about the same time in the past.
If you go back to HOTWIRE and click this offer, then on the ensuing page click the 'See all' link under the amenities, do you see more than what you've posted above?
If not further click the BOOK NOW button, then on the next page click the 'See all amenities' link... do you then see more amenities then just those above?
Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
Thanks for the information. I just realized the list of amenities differs at various steps. I think it is the one AaronJB described.

Thank you very much. I prefer hotel along the riverside or close to the Water Tower. My preference is Hyyat Regency or Sheraton or their alike. I had some bad experiences if hotels in some super old buildings such as spider crawling into the room and a bid hesitating. Knickerbocker is extremely old and run down from my point of view that I would avoid.
