PRICELINE sent me an email givng me $30 bonus cash. The problem is I had already booked a hotel with PL. Is there anyway to retroactively use this bonus cash?

I called the hotel and requested a room that's higher up. The girl was pleasant enough to deal with and promised me that. Hopefully, that's an indication of the hotel as a whole.

Oh well, your reply scared me. Any chance to get out of my purchase with PL. I could call my credit card comapny and tell them I didn't bid $96 but that could take months to resolve and I don't want to be on the hook for the payment if I don't stay at the hotel.

I don't know how to change the title but the dates are from Oct 20 to Oct 24 2009.

I bid $70 for a 5 star Vegas Stripe North hotel (Trump) and was rejected. PL gave me a counter offer of $96, I didn't give it much thought and hit the buy button again. Then I realized that I was bidding for $96 so I hit the back button before my bid was accepted. I went back a few screens, added another zone and bid $75. Finally, my bid was accepted but it was for $96 not $75! Called PL and they wouldn't budge, I'm on the hook for $96. Oh well, lessons learned, it must be some cookie or cache thing with the browser. $96 is close to Hotwire price so it's not too bad of a loss and I might now get it for lower than $96 anyway.

Got in on my first low ball bid of $110, didn't expect to win at all but did!

Will be spending two nights in Washington from Aug 28 to Aug 30. What are the PL hotels that you would recommend? Location is key, I hope to avoid having to rent a car in Washington if possible. Thanks.

Looking to spend tow nights in Boston from Aug 30 to Sep 1 and would like to ask for hotel suggestions. My plan is to see the hit the usual tourist sites of Boston including going to Harvard and MIT. My prime concern is good central location so I won't be spending a lot of time traveling. Thanks.

I got it for $110 per night without tax. Are those success bids quoted here with or without tax? Because there's another $50 of taxes so the total for two nights is $270. This is my first PRICELINE bid, used to be HOTWIRE user only. So far the experience is good.

I'm looking for April after Easter rental in Orlando for a Van or large sedan. So if the price is discounted, it will for sure be from major companies like Avis. However, if the price is not discounted, I might be getting from, say, U-Save but I'll see that before I book. Is that right? Thanks.

I used Hotwire once to book a $200 a night Sheraton for $49, great deal. Now I'm trying to rent cars with HOTWIRE. My travel date is 4 months away and checking Hotwire now, the rates are the same as the rental companies charge. But if I change the date to 1 week out, the rate reduces tremendously. Is this how Hotwire works, that I should wait until the last minute to book with them? Besides, I don't want to rent with low cost companies like U Save. As long as they are national chain like Budget or Avis, I'm fine. My question is that is it guaranteed that I won't be renting from the likes of U Save when I go through Hotwire? Thanks!
