whenever I stayed at the Hilton Olympia (usually was booked there with a regular rate, not via HOTWIRE / PRICELINE) my room was really small, so no way to put a roll-away bed in there. You better just phone them and ask, maybe you will get a room that is large enough.

quick update: the amount I paid is almost exactly the same amout (depending on the GBP/USD exchange rate) I would need to pay when booking directly online with the hotel. Very disappointing.

Started with the PRICELINE link and 60$, was offered to rebid for 77$. Instead I kept adding zones (luckily only three of the Seattle zones do have 4* properties :) ) and bid $62, $64, $65, $67, $68, $69. The last of these offers was accepted. So $69 seems to be the current Westin minimum (see also this winning priceline bid). Actually, the Westin was what I wanted, so I am quite happy :)

Tried a 3* for $42 yesterday (using Oakland as the only zone), but wasn't successful. Today, 24 hours later, tried 3* for $45, still with Oakland as the only zone, got the Courtyard Oakland Airport. The total amout including charges and taxes is $57.59. Of course I was using the PRICELINE link.

My very first bid was accepted. Should have aimed lower :) But the regular rates for this hotel start at 120$ plus taxes.

addendum: the Hotwire page also showed the Tripadvisor rating for the hotel (4/5 -- the same as the Holiday Inn Express :) )

Just booked, of course using your HOTWIRE link :-) Amenities: Airport Shuttle, Complimentary Breakfast, Fitness Center. Pool(s). Business Center. Laundry Facilities. High-speed Internet Access I actually expected the Holiday Inn Express South given these amenities. Maybe the hotel list could be updated to offer this amenities list, as well.

I was looking at Hotwire for a *4 in London (June 3-5, 2010). The following one is listed for $74/night plus taxes, with the following information provided: Location: The City - Financial Distric Amenities: Restaurant, Business center, High-Speed Internet Access TripAdvisor rating: 4/5. Is there any indication whether it could be the Hilton Islington, the Club Quarters Gracechurch, or even the Crown Plaza Shoreditch? Thanks!
