  1. Used your link and tried PRICELINE 4* same area instead. Got Rosen Shingle Creek for $45/night on initial bid. Hate to leave money on the table but doubt I could have gotten a 4* much cheaper.
  2. I used the betterbidding.com HOTWIRE link. Offered at $49/night, 4* with Amenities: Pet Friendly, Fitness Ctr, Pool(s), Restaurant(s),Business Ctr, Internet Access, Golf Nearby, Spa Services. Would appreciate help with identity of hotel. Thanks.
  3. Well, I agree. I tried it again and it gave me only 3* and below but when trying it this AM it offered 4*. I don't have a good explanation.
  4. Priceline shows available 4* for Crystal City for 4/27-30. Previously only 3* and below offered such as Hilton, Hyatt, Radison, Crown Plaza, Doubletree, Holiday Inn. Anyone know if they have added a new 4* or upgraded one of the old 3*?
  5. Rebidded after 72 hrs and added 4* + resort. Rejected N. and S. Waikiki at $200. Booked Marriott S. Waikiki at $279 as backup. Is everything just sold out?
  6. Prefer Hilton. Prefer not to stay Waikiki S. Bid Waikiki North $140, then added Airport to $150, then added Exec Ctr to $165.
  7. I need 3 tickets Birmingham to Honolulu Aug 1-7/05. I have 180k Delta FF miles and check availability daily but no openings for standard reward (35k miles) yet. Can book Southwest/ATA codeshare for about $800 pp. This fare can then be used for future Southwest flights for one yr if I happen to get the Delta FF seats before departure which to me is better than no refund deals on other airlines. Any advice beyond the above thoughts would be appreciated.
  8. Started at $100 and used zone addition rebids in $5 increments. Accepted at $135. This hotel usually accepts $115 but maybe the Memorial Day weekend time. Note also with resort bid you are looking at Marriott or Renaissance now. Had been only the Marriott for a while.
  9. I have stayed at this hotel. It may have some historic qualities but it is a dump. 3* is a real stretch. However, they often charge $150/night so $50 for the stay is a good rate.
