  1. Using the BetterBidding link to HOTWIRE, I successfully booked another stay at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Milwaukee. $58 was the pre-tax cost ($72.70 with all taxes/fees) today, but the previous day it was $54. I booked the trip for the night of the 3rd of March. Amenities include: Fitness Center, Restaurant, Business Center, Internet Access. The Hyatt has recently been remodeled, and though the bathrooms are quite small, the hotel is fine for business travel or other stays in town that don't revolve around the hotel property. I have used HOTWIRE (by way of Better Bidding) for almost all my business trips to Milwaukee in the last couple years. The 3.5* properties have always been the Hyatt or Hilton, though most of my bookings have ended up being at the Hyatt. Note that the parking facility there is costly for overnight parking, but you can park on the street IF you call in your location and license plate number to the police. The front desk has the number.
  2. Unfortunately I was unable to duplicate these high-value results when I attempted to book this hotel on PRICELINE. They rejected my modified bid of $60/night too.
  3. I would agree that the 3.5* hotel downtown is EITHER the Hyatt or Hilton. I have stayed in both and are both adequate and a good value for the price on Hotwire. The 4* for the Ambassador may be a good guess.
  4. The Hyatt Regency Milwaukee Downtown is now a 3.5 Star I booked this hotel for one night, 12/8 to 12/9 for $62, plus $14.50 in taxes, or a total of $76.50 Amenities Included: Fitness Center, Restaurant, Business Center, High Speed Internet Access Based on the aformentioned information and what I gleaned from this great forum, I knew it had to be the Hyatt or Hilton.
