  1. I just pricelined with my "coupon" and moved to the Luxor for $65, I'm content with that, and saved about a $100. But what a pain!
  2. I know! It's Superbowl weekend! Not going to be able to find anything else, as I scored the Wynn for $95. So you don't feel it's worth me calling and arguing anymore? I feel like I should, but if they aren't going to help me then why bother. If I was dealing with the hotel directly they would be gracious and accommodating I'm sure.
  3. They just called me too, and want to move me to the Trump. But of course India call center doesn't understand the difference between the two hotels. Ugh. I am also looking for something else! There going to send me $10 off my next reservation... :) I only have one day to research a new room! What a pain. They should, comp at least one night for messing it up, I would imagine.
  4. As expected! :) couldn't pull anything up on Priceline so I snagged this. Amenities were laundry, internet, pool, resturaunt I used the HOTWIRE link oops forgot the dates 1/18-1/19
  5. Interesting! Yea, I had seen it on HOTWIRE for like $120 or something. Figured I would check if I could do better on Priceline. They must really have extra space now due to the new tower. Yea, not totally worried about Trump, but that shouldn't be in the same category!
  6. Wynn! Well! That was quite a bid. Ok first bid for South strip only 5 star at $85, they countered with $180, I countered with $100 and added zones but no luck. We had really wanted THEhotel but that was too high. So I re-bid again for North and South. $65 rejected they countered $106 I rebid 85, and 90, and 95 adding zones and I won with $95. Funny, all this time we were worried about the Trump! Then my friend said it would be ok. Never expected the Wynn but I'm sure it's great. Haven't stayed there before. and i did use the PRICELINE link!
  7. I've been looking around for that weekend, it seems a little higher, but nothing outrageous, you should be able to score a deal.
  8. Yea, there is no other 5 star hotels down there... Unless maybe they decide to throw in Bellagio. The only 5 star hotels on the strip are THEhotel, Venitian, Palazzo, Wynn/Encore, Bellagio and Trump Regardless, it's a 5 star hotel... how bad can it be haha? Hmm! I'm trying for this hotel too, the 7 rebid zones hmmm.
  9. I've been pulling it up too for 1/31-2/2, for $109, it's actually far less expensive than any of the 3 or 4 star hotels even for that weekend. Haha, I guess it's not bad!
  10. Yea, I placed a few unsuccessful bids this week, now I'm afraid to up my price in fear of getting one of these two. I mean I don't particularly mind (because I'm driving), but for this trip, I need a strip hotel, it concerns me. Generally in Vegas I want a big hotel with a casino and a choice of restaurants.
  11. Of course, but it should be fine if you check with the hotel I would imagine. I've never had a problem with that in Vegas. Unless you check in super super late or something to prevent it.
  12. I stayed there a few years ago and it was wonderful, the beds are very comfortable, they have a small casino, no smoking, and it's a very easy in and out. I just wish it didn't say "strip" because it's quite a trek to the strip.
  13. They should have double beds. I have stayed there before and we had double beds in our suite. I wouldn't imagine it would be a problem. There isn't a price difference like there is at the Venitian.
  14. The only hotel I've ever had 2 bed issues was with The Venitian, as the double bed rooms are quite a bit more a night. My best advice would be just send the other 2 members of your party to wander around while you check in, then it should be fine.
  15. Trump currently has the kitchenette icon. Also I've been seeing this deal for many dates! It's far cheaper than most of the 4 star hotels even.
  16. Put in $60 for Pikes Place and Space Needle and no luck, so I tried $65 and added Everett (no 3 star hotels in Everett) and it accepted! Very happy, considering it is a holiday!
  17. First bid $60, put both Pikes Place and Space Needle and 3 star... awesome! $171 a night on the Red Lion site. I had seen the "vacation package" drop dramatically in price, so I figured I'd try it. Wanted to register and share, since I check this site frequently for information! :)
