  1. I had hoped for Eagle Crest Marriott and won at 147/nt. It went up $7 in one day but a non-issue. I had not seen an update on this Marriott in 2+yrs so I had my fingers crossed but then again it's likely the only 3.5* in Yipsi. Very nice hotel sitting on the home course of Eastern Michigan golf teams. Amenities; Free parking, Free Internet, Indoor pool(s), Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby Accessibility; In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking

  3. Surprised by this win as it's not listed in Hotwire Hotel listings - Illinois. Assumed I"d get Dtree suites or Hilton. I'm sure it will be just fine as the TA reviews look great. Used the HOTWIRE link AND don't forget the extra $15 off from BB and HOTWIRE!
  4. purchased 3* PRICELINE EXPRESS deal in hopes of the HGI in Danbury. Won the Holiday Inn instead. 8. Wanted Bloomington West or Downtown 4*. I've won stays at the Foshay and Radisson downtown and the Hilton in Bloom West. I was hoping for a miracle win in any. I'll take the Sofitel after all it is a nice hotel(and I'm avoiding minimum $20 parking garage fees). Started at $75 and up by $5-$7 increments. Added free rebids won Sofitel @ $113. Good not great but I'll take it since occupancy has been very full in MSP this week-big conference I guess. OFFER: $113 TAXES/FEES: $24.84 TOTAL: $137.84 Used Betterbidding.com PRICELINE link
  9. started 3.5 stars at $79 and used free re-bids using $10 increments. Won Hilton Tower with following fees: Room Rate: $99 Taxes/Fees: $22.12 TOTAL: $121.12 Hope it's nice. As always used the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin travel purchases.

  11. Tried the new zone Huntington Beach (formerly HB and NB were connected) and won the Shorebreak. Started at $75 reject, followed by rejects with free rebid at $81, $88, $96. Then finally won at $104. Very unfamiliar with hotel and Joie de Vivre brand so hoping it's a nice stay. It's #1 on Trip Advisor so all signs pointing in the right direction. Was hoping to win the Hyatt Regency or Hilton Waterfront but I'm confused as to what will end up in this zone. Now we know Shorebreak is in the mix. Of course used the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board.
  12. This Hyatt property is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. I'm extremely pleased with the result especially after trying to bid on Priceline up to $120/night (in the same area resort level)with no luck for days. *Beware of the $25 resort fee tacked on at check-in. This shouldn't discourage your stay unless you have an extremely strict budget. Used the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board. 13. amenities: Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access $115/ night for 2 rooms.
  14. After seeing wins and wanting the Pfister @ $59, I mistakingly started bidding at $59 and won the Hyatt instead on the first try. In retrospect, I wonder if I started at $55 and moved up, like the previous poster, if it would have made a difference. While not overall happy with the win and reviews for this Hyatt it's only 1 night and I'll survive. As usual, used the PRICELINE link on this site. Thanks
  15. Tried East Lansing for Marriott or Staybridge Suites for several days starting at $55 up by $5 increments. Rejected all the way up to $80. We settled on Lansing area (west) and won Residence Inn first try at $74. Used BetterBidding PRICELINE link
  16. This is a 3.5* property not 4. Started North Scottsdale rejected at $66. Added free rebid Phoenix North accepted at $71. Bid was on 2 rooms and I had been trying 4* and RESORT in North Scottsdale for a several days with no success. Kept getting rejected after 8 free re-bids and finally stopped at $95. Difficult to get nicer resorts around here in March during Spring Training and Spring Break. Decided to go down to 3.5* level because I didn't want to add Scottsdale zone in hopes to avoid Scottsdale Resort & Conference(not a fan). I haven't stayed here but reviews so far are okay. Also hoping they accomodate an upgrade as we need refrigerator for baby food. I used the PRICELINE links to start my purchase. Cheers!
  17. AaronJB - sorry this was supposed to be in the Priceline forum list. My bad.
  18. use BB all the time for hotels but this was a first for cars. A tough go to get a car for these dates with Spring Training. Started bidding a few days ago but rejected around the $18 - $22 range with re-bids all rejected. Again yesterday. Today I started at $22 midsize reject, $23 standard reject, $25 full size reject. I noticed Hotwire giving some SUV wins at good rates so I decided to skip over the PREMIUM, LUXURY, CONVERTIBLE and MINIVAN and added the Full Size SUV @ $26 which resulted in the win. Plus we needed the bigger SUV with our car seat and luggage (including golf clubs). Not sure why they don't have the Full Size SUV right after Full Size car... Happy with this as Priceline(matrix view) offered SUV with Hertz at $39/day totalling $251 before I bid on (best deal). Your Offer Price: $26.00 (per day) Total Rental Days: 4 days(3 days and 21 hours) Subtotal: $104.00 Taxes and Fees: $81.18 Total Charges: $185.18
  19. I noticed a 3.5* on HOTWIRE for $107 but thought that was a little high for the star rating considering other 4* PRICELINE wins downtown Austin went for $85 (omni). Anyway, started bidding at $55 downtown, rejected. Added free rebids and got rejected at $60, $65, and $71. Won at $76. Very happy considering I'm a big fan of the beds with this chain and I get a cookie! Offer Price: per night $76.00 Rooms: 1 Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $76.00 Taxes & Fees: $19.19 Total Charged to Card: $95.19 used the PRICELINE links to start the bidding, as usual :) Thanks again BB team and members. Will donate soon! will be trying for a 4* downtown on Friday and Saturday night...stay tuned.

  21. I sugguest using Thereuare post#5 strategy but start at $115. We've been trying 3* and 3.5* star bids up to $100 for the past two weeks with no luck. FYI-Blues Fest is that weekend. Good Luck.

  23. After reading past forum wins and discussion on this property, it seemed like the thing to do. Just offered $55 3* downtown and won. I'm very happy with this win because I was quoted $179/night for a walk in rate at RI River Place. thanks! Used the PRICELINE link from this site too!
