I wrote to Hotwire to complain about this hotel being rated a 2.5*. They replied with an email saying they would like to discuss it further and gave me a phone number to call. They had already dropped this property down to a 2* when I called. They wouldn't let me change the reservation, but did give me $75 ($25 per night)in "Hotwire Bucks" to use at a later date, for my "inconvenience". The amenities are now listed as: Complimentary Breakfast Pool P.S. I did with this one, and nearly always access Hotwire and Priceline through your links
No Amenities listed with Hotwire at this time Booked 1/16/10 $44/night X 3 nights = $132 tax and fees = $23.91 Total - $155.91 Expedia has this hotel listed as a 2*, and I imagine it will probably be more along the lines of a 2* hotel. I'm disappointed in this one and I only saved less than $1 with Hotwire over the Days Inn website. Oh well.... :)

I already had a stay in Provo at the Residence Inn for 10/18-10/22/09 for $52/night, but I needed to arrive a day earlier. I tried to "extend" my stay via Priceline, but they were going to charge $78 per night, so I decided to re-bid. I bid $30 for a 3* and was rejected. I upped my bid to $40 for a 2.5* and was rejected but got the message that if I bid $12 dollars more I would get the room, and they upgraded to a 3*. Booked 10/17/09 Price/ night = $52 taxes & fees = $14.19 Total = $66.19

Yes, I agree with you. The normal rate at this hotel is $5 more for 2 beds, but they told us in order to give us the room we wanted we would have to bring the price up to the normal market rate. It was, however, a nice place with a good breakfast.
$45 per night plus $38.39 tax/fees for the 5 nights. On many occasions we have asked the hotel we book through Priceline if we could have a room with 2 beds, as we have a couple of our kids with us. Usually this is not a problem. However, this hotel charged us over $22 per night extra for a 2 bed room. This is an area that HOTWIRE beats PRICELINE because with Hotwire I can say there will be 4 people in the room.
