Review: Would stay again in a hearbeat. Front desk service is exceptional and the hotel bar was great. Building is new and the rooms are extremely well-appointed. Nice TVs, linens, and the showers were great. Large, walk-in waterfall type. Nespresso machine in the room, also. Two snaps up. -Fielding

A very late review/update to this. I would not recommend this hotel unless you're looking for a really, really cheap place to sleep and have a somewhat edible free breakfast. It's a very low-rent property next to the highway with both interior AND exterior doors on the first floor rooms. Traveling by myself, I'd be fine. With the wife and kids, not so much. Better late than never(?) This is new to the board and was formerly the Regency Suites. Before that, Embassy suites. It's a nice place. Good breakfast and a nice location downtown near the river and Titletown Brewery. Not that I noticed. Given that no other Sarnia/Point Edward posts exist, I'm guessing this is a moot point, but... Review: This place isn't even close to it's 3.5* rating. Not in a million years. Moldy grout, bad HVAC, 30+ year-old bathrooms. Ridiculous. -Fielding

Just booked this hotel through the Betterbidding HOTWIRE link. It's the Jameson Inn. 6/12 - $39, 2 adults.

Took some bidding. I started at $70, I think. Good location and it looks like a nice place. Regular website rate is $159 for this date. I forgot to use the PRICELINE link, though. :)

I tried to edit the topic header and can't. Oh well. 12/19 - $59 Booked this by mistake (using the betterbidding HOTWIRE link), thinking it was the Holiday Inn Express. Here's hoping it's better than the other horrible La Quintas I've stayed at in Florida. Pay attention, Kids, and let this be a lesson to you.
