One unfortunate bidder was unhappy and was encouraged here to call Hotwire and let them know the hotel does not meet 3* standards. I wonder if an adjustment has been made by HW and the 2.5* and 85% reflects this change. I have contacted the La Quinta, they do NOT have any pools and ARE pet friendly. I am hoping the 3* will be the Holiday Inn Columbia. However I do know that at this HI there is NO indoor pool (outdoor yes) and there IS a restaurant on site. These are the only hotels clearly within the HW footprint for Jessup Elkridge that have a pool:Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Columbia East - Elkridge (2.5* on hotels and travelocity - INSIDE footprint, DOES have indoor pool)Comfort Suites Columbia Gateway (2* on hotels and travelocity - INSIDE footprint, DOES have indoor pool)...and the Holiday Inn Columbia. 2.5-3* with pools, but clearly within the "Columbia" footprint: Homewood Suites by Hilton Columbia (closest to footprint, outdoor pool only), Hampton Inn & Suites Columbia/South, SpringHill Suites by Marriott Columbia, Extended Stay America - Columbia - Columbia Corporate Park Booking this morning for check-in this afternoon. Need help with ID of 2.5* in Laurel. Property Amenities: Parking, Breakfast, Internet, Indoor Pool, Fitness Center, Pools, Accessibility Could this be the Holiday Inn Express? Fairfield Inn? Either would be GREAT as they go for $110+ on Hotels.com I know the 3* available for $69 is Holiday Inn-West, which can be had for ~$50 on PL. Hoping it is not the Quality Inn. Hey, and TIA for the advice! I am looking for a one night stay on the strip (North or South). I am travelling with my canine companion. Is my best bet to simply book retail with a hotel by calling ahead and making sure they are dog-friendly? I am having a hard time identifying any "sure things" on the PL or HW Hotel Lists. I am looking to spend anywhere from $30-80. No real preferences other than a sweet deal on a clean room! Thanks again, J

Need the Springhill Suites for one night. The West Mifflin area is actually quite critical. I would also try to go for the? 3* in the area, but the reviews on the SS seem great. The winning bids appear to be relatively "all over the place" $30-$55. Any bidding suggestions? Thanks in advance. J
