Priceline doesn't appear to give me the option to name my price for PHX-COS. Also, I must have a minivan or at least a fullsize car as there are 5 of us. Is this user-error on Priceline? Thanks again

I am looking for a one-way rental for a minivan from either LAS or PHX to COS (or possibly DEN). Looking for 2 weeks beginning either 8/2 or 8/9 (+ or - 1 day). I have tried all the codes on this great site, but can't find anything under about $1,500 with unlimited mileage (I found it for ~$700 plus mileage, but that is over $1,200 as well). Any ideas? If I bid higher than apparently necessary on PL, maybe $80, for a 4* in the loop, am I likely to get a different hotel (a better hotel) than if I bid $50 for one night 2/5/07 (as it looks likely that I'll get the Hyatt Regency based on prior wins)? Thanks! Cliff

Tried $105, $110, and finally $118, with no luck for one night on 7/20 for two rooms. Not sure what to try next (Miracle Mile 4* or stay in the Loop for 4* for $75)? Company is paying, so I'd like a nice place!

I was expecting the Crown Plaza, but got the Sir Francis Drake. The rooms are quite small and a bit tired. Location was PERFECT. They also have free WiFi, which was great. For $75/night, it was a great value. I booked it 6/20/04. I tried priceline 4* hotels up to $100 with no luck.
