We are going to the Potash Corps Fireworks Festival September 3rd and 4th in Saskatoon and it is also a long weekend so didn't know if we would get a deal. Bid $71 for 3 star hoping to get the Radisson but got declined which sucked because the festival is 2 blocks away on the river. Parking is $12.00 per day at the hotel so decided against the offer to rebid for $15.00 more. Increased bid to $76.00 and lowered star level to 2.5. Got the Saskatoon Inn. Called them and they changed the reservation to 2 queen beds. Regular price is $139.99 but all Saskatoon hotels are overpriced. I am happy I saved a little money anyways. The hotel is dated but OK and has free parking. Total with taxes and fees is $94.29.

My first attempt using PRICELINE. Thanks to betterbidding.com we would of not got such a good deal. The regular price is $89.00 dollars per night to stay at the Fairfield Inn Marriott in Minot North Dakota. Super nice hotel with pool, hot tub and great complimentary breakfast. Located next to Dakota Square mall for easy access to shopping! Hotel staff very friendly and rooms nicely decorated. Beds clean and comfortable. First bid attempt was $45.00 per night. Accepted bid total with tax for two nights was $108.48 booked July 27, 2008 for two nights July 27 and July 28, 2008. Called hotel after bid was accepted and they were able to change the reservation and give us two queen beds instead of one.
