  1. Thanks for your help. My GF actually found a better deal for the Bellagio (after $75 food/drink credit) so we went with that. I'm looking at LV hotels for later in the week when we return to LV and will use your links to book.
  2. Hi, I could use help ID'ing this Hotwire deal... Dates: 5/5-5/6/2019, 1 night Using the BiddingHelper, Hotwire Easy View shows $82 for a 5* Casino Hotel ($82 for 2 queen beds or hotel chooses; $103 for 1 king bed) $44 resort fee (it seems like none of the casinos actually charge $44, they are all $39 - is Hotwire inflating the resort fee to avoid IDing properties?) Easy View cannot ID the hotel and the 'boutique' tag throws out the Bellagio. What is your guess? Thank you! FULL AMENITIES: Boutique, Casino, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Golf, Tennis, Spa, Free Parking, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Wheelchair Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in Shower, Pet Friendly As another point of reference, Hotwire has a 5* Boutique Hotel for $107 (same Fountains zone) that BiddingHelper IDs as the Vdara. FULL AMENITIES: Boutique, Suite, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Kitchenette, Golf, Spa, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Roll-in Shower, Pet Friendly
  3. Here are the amenities for the Palazzo, although I remember the resort and suite ones did not show up in some of the search results. Resort Suite Casino Fitness Center (it is free to use for hotel guests, BTW) Pool(s) Restaurants Business Center (the suite had a desk and a printer/copier too) High-speed internet access (Wifi is provided in-room, part of the nearly $20/night resort fee) Gold Nearby Tennis Nearby Spa Services
  4. I wanted to report my Hotwire purchase. The hotel search came up with a 5 star hotel at the top, with a bed choice. The amenities didn't include Resort and Suite at first, but on the later screens those amenities showed up too. Other amenities included: fitness, casino, golf nearby, pool (I don't remember them all). The rate was $161 base or 184 for 2 queens for the weekend of 7/1-7/3. I was hoping it would be the Palazzo and it was!
  5. I'm trying to get a room at the Holiday Inn in Greenbelt, MD for a friend's wedding in November. The description in the Hotwire list says College Park - Beltsville 3* Holiday Inn Greenbelt Amentiies: Shuttle, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Laundry (may or may not show Shuttle) On Hotwire's search results, I see 3 results in the College Park-Beltsville area. $59: 2.5 stars, complimentary breakfast, fitness, pool, laundry, high speed internet. $79: 3.0 stars, fitness, pool $52: 2.0 stars, complimentary breakfast, pool None match BetterBidding's description. Do you think the $59 hotel listed is the Holiday Inn? I want to be pretty sure about this since most of the other wedding guests are staying there and I want to be with them. Thanks for your help!
  6. Started bid at $80 and raised in $10 increments for the most part. After a few re-bids, I had my girlfriend try and this one stuck. It is a decent rate, although there was a 4* hotel in Quincy/Financial on HOTWIRE that was possibly the Omni Parker for $149/nt, and thinking about it I'd prefer to spend the extra $26 for the Omni's better location.
  7. Thanks for your comments, your idea to check the Holiday Inn webrate actually showed that Sunday was more expensive than Saturday (Sun=$230; Sat=$200). However, looking at the IC site (thru the link) also made me realize that some rooms are smoking. I definitely want a non-smoking room, and with HOTWIRE I cannot specifically request this. I'll look through HOTWIRE's results again, as I recall seeing a couple other hotels that were non-smoking throughout.
  8. By the way, I will be using the links to Hotwire from this site when I purchase this itinerary. Thanks.
  9. 3* hotel in Quincy Market - Financial District, Ammenities: gym, restaurant, internet. Looking through other posts, this seems to be the Holiday Inn Beacon Hill. I did searches on Hotwire for Sat-Mon (8/2-4) and also Sat-Sun (8/2-3) and Sun-Mon (8/3-4). Sat-Mon: $189 per room per night Sun-Mon: $89 per room per night Sat-Sun: $203 per room per night So for the 2-night stay it would be $378 vs. $292 (savings of $86) for booking the two nights separately. I have a couple questions about this: -is Hotwire usually more expensive for 2-night stays vs. 1-night stays? -is this hotel definitely the Holiday Inn? -if I do purchase them separately and they are both for the Holiday Inn, do you think I would have to check-out and re-check in on Sunday or do you the hotel will not make me pack up and re-check in to another room? Thanks for your help!!
