After a long delay I discovered that "Roll In Shower" was listed under the category of "Accessibility" not "Amenities."

My first bid was accepted. The only amenity listed was a pool so I did not expect or need much for this one night stay. At first this might seem like a great bargain but I was misled. In addition to the taxes and fees I was disappointed and surprised to discover after the fact that this was a resort and included a $17.95 resort fee. So my total eneded up being $73.41 which is admittedly well below the Wyndham asking price but well above what I expected my final total to be. It seems to be wrong that Priceline does not indicate that the place you are bidding on is a resort - at least then I would have known to be wary because of resort fees. I did use the Priceline link and as always I appreciate your website.

I went to my trip page and other than the accessibility list (roll-in shower, parking, visually impaired, Hearing impaired and path of travel) I did not see anything more.

The hotel was technically listed under Carlisle East. Since this was a 2.5 * at $40 + the 5% spring 14 code discount I did not think I would do much better than the Express deal. Prior to bidding the amenities listed were: Free breakfast, free internet, indoor/outdoor pool, parking, business center, fitness center. The display ad also indicated "save 30% or more." There were no posts for Bluefield, WV. So this is not a hot spot to stay. I made my first bid @ $50 which was rejected but I received a rebid offer to add $9. Instead, I added Princeton, WV at the same star level and added $3. This bid was accepted. As always I used the PRICELINE link.

I placed my first bid yesterday @$65. The bid was rejected but I was told to add $12 or more to the bid and try again. I declined to do so and waited until today. Today I bid $70. The bid was accepted. While I was expecting to get the Comfort Inn at 3* I am happy with the Ramada. We have stayed here once before. Fairly recent bidding shows that the Ramada was a 2.5* so there must have been a more recent change in its ranking. There is a Seafood festival going on nearby this weekend. Booked this for our son's college graduation next spring since things fill early. The only amenity listed on Hotwire prior to purchase was "free breakfast." However, the hotel also has an indoor pool. Kind of pricy but it beats the $114 normal price. I used your HOTWIRE link. thanks for the service.

Taking a quick trip to Lancaster in a few days. I tried and failed to get a 3* at $55 and then $65. I tried both Lancaster East and West. I dropped down to a 2.5* and lowered my bid to $53 and got it on the first try. As always I used your PRICELINE link.

We are headed to San Diego for a convention. The Hilton Bayfront was $169 on a "special" rate. We secured the Hilton Gaslamp for $109 per night. Other people have posted that for San Diego Hotwire is the better choice becuase they have more zones. This is very true if you want to be walking distance from your destination. I could only get this rate through the 18th. We are staying one more night for the convention. So for the last night I booked a 3* that I am reporting separately. There was limited information on bidding at this time of year. I looked at sucessful bids from last year. Based on a sucessful 3* bid from last year for $57 I decided to start a little lower at $55. My first offer was accepted. I accessed PRICELINE through the "quick qoute" on your page. I don't know if this replaces the bidding links you used to have so that you get credit. This is the first time I have been to your site since the layout design has been changed. Thanks again for the service.

As always I used the PRICELINE link. We stayed here several weeks ago for $65. We decided to come back and bring my wife's parents. I bid $63 and got these two rooms right away. It still has free parking not bad for the area. Thanks for the service!

As usual I used the PRICELINE link. Based on past successful bids I started bidding at $46 knowing that I had rebids through zones with no 3.5* locations. When i bid $46 I received a rebid offer of adding $9. That was a new re-bid amount for me. Typically, it has been to add $15. I added South and added $2 my bid was rejected. I added South Side and added another $1. The bid was accepted for $49 and we were offered another night at the same rate. Since this is a birthday pleasure trip I added another evening (the 14th) making our stay for two nights. Then I went to Restaurant.com and found that there was a restaurant listed that was in the hotel - so I picked up another bargain. Thanks again for this service.

Using the PRICELINE link I started bidding at $50 I was rejected. Because the Univeristy area is the only location with 3.5 * hotels I added a zone (there are 6 other zones) and added $5. I was counter-offered at $70. I added another zone at $60 and was rejected. I added another zone at $65 and received the Crowne Plaza. Thanks as always for this service.

You are correct that the Chateau Fleur de Lys for 7/2 was a retail purchase. You are also correct that the Comfort Inn also included Hi-Speed Internet which I failed to add to the list. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for all of your hard work on this website.

I have decided to split my nights of stay. I used the PRICELINE link again for one night using the same 3 zones and bid up to $109 for a 3* but with no luck. So I obtained on of the hotels that Priceline had available for the 1 night and obtained the Chateau Fleur de Lys on 7/2/11. It may not be fancy but it has a good location. For the nights of 7/3 and 7/4 I tried Priceline again. I bid up to $85 for a 3* with all 3 zones and had no luck. I used the PRICELINE link again for this bidding. After this failure decided that I could stay out of town since I will have one night in town. Since I failed on Priceline I used your HOTWIRE link and selected a 2* with the amenities of a free breakfast and laundry for $68.00 st the St. Foy area. I obtained the Comfort Inn Airport East. I believe this is a new location for your site. I don't know if you want me to post this information on the Hotwire side of your site or if you want it in both locations. I can post just the basic facts of the Hotwire stay on that board if you wish.

I started last night on trying to obtain a 3* for Quebec City. I started at $70 and today I went as high as $85. There are 3 zones - Beauport Quebec and Sainte Foy. I have tried all 3 areas while raising my bid. This is starting to get a bid rich. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd prefer to not go to a 2*. In addition to the approach I have been using to simply add zones and raising my bid offer is there any way of knowing that if I were to drop the night of 7/2 which is a Saturday and the day after Canada Day that I might have better luck? This may be a new location for Better Bidding. I used the same strategy that another bidder used who ended up at the Dorval Comfort Inn. I started bidding with Dorval at $45 - rejected added Pointe Claire at $47 - rejected added Laval at $48 - rejected added Longinul at $50 - accepted Comfort Inn W. :) This Holiday In Express was amazing. We got a suite with a huge whirlpool tub, fridge and microwave. Big king bed two TV's and an amazing free breakfast for $53! We wished we could have done our entire vacation at this location. We LOVED it.
