Won this on PRICELINE for the first bid of $75 when the going rate on website was somewhere close to $179. Stayed there for 5 nights and had a good time. Got lucky with weather during my stay. Central location on the beach. Used the PRICELINE link from this website.

Won this back in Jan on PRICELINE using the links from this great site. Started somewhere around $85 and won for $101. Beware there are 2 types of hotel rooms. Front desk will always assign you the lanai rooms similar to motel around the tower based on your priceline booking. But don't settle for it and you can do better by negotiating right on the spot for $15-20 more to get into the tower. Thats what we did when they tried to put us in the lanai room, paid our way to get into the tower room with cruise port , Marina and sunset view. Didn't want to start our FL trip on a sour note. Beach is 10-15 minute walk but they do provide shuttle to the beach. There is a nice pool area and well maintained grounds. Cheers...

Got Reach resort for 199/night. Be aware of $20 Resort fee (Even though Hotwire alterted me to be ready to pay $30) and $15 parking. I tried bidding RESORTS on Priceline with 2 different accounts but always got the $25 increase couner offer on both 185 bid and 198 bid in the span of 15 mintues because i was hoping for Directly hyatt or Casa marina Resort. Also failed to secure 4* at a 15-20% discount to the posted Hotwire rate for my dates. But finally with no luck on priceline ended up buying it on Hotwire. Used the links from this great site during purchase. As my booking was on the last minute i expected to pay high but could not find any recent wins for this resort on hotwire listed on this site for comps( May be i have not looked deeper in the past history) I was concerned with some bad reviews on tripadvisor about this property but overall I liked my stay for quite 2 days on this resort. Great location (Almost southermost resort on keywest), Private beach and great sunset views when coupled with Casa Marina resort as this is a sister property and you can use amenities on both by staying at either resort. hope this info will help my fellow travelers for their upcoming trips to key west. Hi All, Need help to identify the following property for 2 rooms, 4 adults for 03/21 to 03/27 $47/per room/per night 4* SeaWorld - I-drive South Area (trip advisor 3.5* with 160+ and latest review in feb) This hotel features the following amenities: Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities High-speed Internet Access Golf Nearby I am expecting Rosen Shingle Creek (trip advisor 3.5* 160+) as per BB hotwire hotel list, but can it be Rosen Plaza (trip advisor 3.5* 173+ ) or Rosen Centre(trip advisor 3.5*, 190+) because of Laundry Icon? This one does not seem like Monumental based on amenties list and also the other two Rosen properties are listed as 3.5* in BB hotwire hotel list. Just trying to make sure that this one is indeed close match for Rosen Shingle creek and not the other 2 rosen properties. Admin any thoughts please?

Also previous Blue tree resort win confirms that it displays with "Resort" icon but this 3* condo does not show "Resort" icon. Any other thoughts? just for the update to fellow travelers there is public parking right next door to the hotel at the corner of Mason and North Point for 24 hr rate of $25 compared to the valet parking charge of this hotel goes for 38+tax. If you don't have to drive out of san fran i would not bother to take the car. Hotels location is great and fishermans wharf, pier 39, bay cruises, lombard street and coit tower are all in walking distance.

Thanks guys for all your help. Just want to share my bidding experience for 5* hotels on the strip with all my fellow travelers that prices does go down as you approach your stay dates. Based on the busy convention schedule on my stay dates i was unable to get 5* south even for 195 and never got any counter offer. As for 5* north goes (most probably trumph) proposed offers kept going down from 214, 188, 166 and i would have most probaly got it around 150. As i did the bidding till last minute (25 sep) my priority changed and went for 4* south. Even though i kept an eye on 4* zone as well as i was looking for 5* hotels. 4* north kept proposing the 5* trumph price. but 4* south kept coming down from $140, 125, 112 and finally i got the 4* Las Vegas (Strip South) Westin Casuarina for $100. ( I was totally aware of getting westin but i hoped for Monte carlo) (26th to 28th) now 2 words about westin, its location is right in the middle of strip but other than that its just a hotel to stay for night and it is not up to the 4* standards. Hello folks - I was trying to get 4* in FW area but no luck till $122. Then tried 3* in FW area $85,$91 and got accepted at $95 even though going price on bestwestern.com is $200+. Used bettebidding PRICELINE links. Anybody have any ideas about parking at this place or nearby parking location? Cheers

Thanks for the alternative. I will definitely book with last mintue travel if i won't have any luck hitting 5* in south zone. Do you think any chance of hitting THEHotel around 165 as i get more closer to my requested dates in las vegas? I am not sure all these 5*'s will get sold out on my requested dates unless there is a big convention/event going on. Just noticed today that counter offer came down from 216 to 188 for 5* in north zone. Seems like prices are falling and i will try 2 more weeks.

Either i am trying priceline so advance given that this is las vegas or simply hotels are busy on my requested dates of stay. But i will keep trying till labour day. I am keep getting the counter offer of 216 for 5* north zone for the last one week. Trying almost everyday. Hey i have noticed Trump for 143+taxes on Skoosh.com for my dates. Does anyone have any experience booking with Skoosh.com and cancellations as they does not seem to have any phone line for direct contact to customer service? Would love to hear from anyone who have used skoosh.com and hows their experience? I don't want to fall victim of some credit card scam!!!:)

Hi guys - Need bid assistance in securing 5* either on strip south or north and my range would be 100-150. I may go little bit higher ($160) for 5* strip south. And am aware of the fact that i may end up with Trump in the north strip. should i bid separatly in these zones or together and what would be my bid strategy? Cheers.

I ended up using hotel's shuttle. 5 minute drive to Secaucus plaza and then ride the bus 190 into the PABT. Had a good time. betterbidding rocks!

booked Sheraton in Atlantic city for 07/31 night in $100 on HOTWIRE ( i know i could have got it for$80 or cheaper on priceline what because of children with me preferred to get gurrenteed accomodation for all of us)

I got it at HOTWIRE for $95 for July 29 and 30th. I will.Also wanted to let you all know that i tried bidding on priceline as well for 3* and 2.5* Did all the bidding on sunday july 27th. For July 28-29th 83-91-104-111-123 but none accepted. using 2 re-bid jones for total combinations of 4 rebids and the final one for 2.5* just for secaucus-north burgen zone. For July 29-30th 101-127-137-149-161 but none accepted. using 2 re-bid jones for total combinations of 4 rebids and the final one for 2.5* just for secaucus-north burgen zone. But after the failed bids above checked the HOTWIRE and right away booked it for 95 For July 29-30th. Eventhough this rate on HOTWIRE was not available sunday morning july 27th.

Park & ride may be full during my weekdays trip. Am i right on Park & ride assumption it being full on weekdays by 10AM-11AM?
