Booked on 1/1/11. Amenities: pool, laundry, internet. Sorry I couldn't use your HOTWIRE links. I booked from the road on my mobile with no research and just took my chances. Turned out to be a decent property.

I bid three times on a 3* at increasing price levels, the last was $61. Wasn't getting anywhere so I tried a 2.5* and my first bid, $49, was accepted.

$60 with tax/fees. Amenities: pool, restaurant, internet, tennis Sadly, the boards were no help at all in figuring this one out. I was originally trying to get the residence inn in carlisle via priceline, but after a week of steadily increasing but rejected bids (maxing out at $59) I held my breath and pulled the trigger on hotwire. Though not my favorite brand -- I don't think I've actually stayed in a Days Inn since I was a kid -- this actually has pretty good reviews on tripadvisor. Number 4 out of 24. We'll be fine here for a night.

My first bid was accepted. Total price with tax $56.78. This is the hotel I was expecting based on previous posts on this forum.

Amenities: Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool Restaurant Business Center Best I can tell based on the address, this used to be the Four Points Sheraton but has changed its name (perhaps it lost its franchise?). Reviews are mixed. Couldn't find anything here on Hagerstown, so I was flying blind. Still $20 cheaper than anything I found elsewhere, so as long as it's not gross I won't complain. I used your HOTWIRE link to book.

Bid $40 on 2.5*, rejected. Immediately rebid $40 on 2*, accepted. Was expecting Hampton Inn based on prior posts in this forum, but this is fine. Actually looks a little nicer.

Amenities: Breakfast, pool, laundry, internet Rated number 2 of 14 hotels in Plattsburgh by tripadvisor. Regular price for that night is $105. Sounds like a good deal!

Bid $55, declined. Waited 24 hours, bid $63, declined but offered to raise my bid $17. Accepted at $80. Normal price is $118. Not the world's greatest bargain, but I was having a hard time finding a decent place for under $100 so I'll take it.
