Nice 3* hotel with very nice rooms. 2 Queen Beds! Free parking. Close to everything. Be warned that this hotel will start an extensive renovatio soon for a couple of months. :)

I am happy to report that my relatives got 2 very nice rooms with 2 double beds as requested in the International Bldg at this 3* Sheraton. Thanks all for the heads up! I still wish they could have gotten the 2.5* Amerisuites, as I bidded, but was upgraded. Still a nice deal for $38+! :)

It is like a broken record with these Suburban Lodge desk clerks, "This is what you get when you book with Priceline!" A crummy room with just a double-bed, 3rd floor (top floor) and the furtherest room from the elevator. Will try not to make this mistake again! :)

Plz let us know if this Hilton gives you the Gold amenities and a nice room in Nov. I ask because almost everytime my relatives and friends have stayed at the LAX Hilton they were almost always given the sorriest of rooms. :)

YES, JUST 1 DOUBLE-BED and a checkin clerk with a real attitude! "When you book with Priceline this is what you get", according to this high-paid clerk. This is what one gets when they try to save a few bucks and book a 1* hotel. Motel 6 is far better than this motel. :)

Welcome to BB! Friends, family and I bid this DT Ft. Lauderdale zone alot and believe you can get the 2.5* Amerisuites or even a 3* for Sat nite 20 Nov for a low $50+ $12.27=$62.27 on Priceline. Right this moment HW is showing the DT 2.5* (suite) for $84. Valuetrips is showing the Amerisuites for $75+. :)

Travelinmom, plz let us know if you request 2 beds your request is honored. I haven't noticed Hyatt assigning 1 bed to PLers like Hilton and some of the lower star hotels are doing. :)

Folks, I hope we are not seeing a trend with hotels taking advantage of their negotiations with Priceline. The worst I have seen is hotels giving a double-bed for 2 occupants? Does double-bed really mean it will sleep 2 adults? It is starting to look like single travelers/businessmen are the only ones safe when it comes to booking with Priceline as far as bedding goes. I wonder if Hotwire, Orbitz, Expedia and Travelocity folks run into the same difficulties. :)

Dan Burgess, I hope you are aware that the standard suite for Homestead is one queen bed. You mentioned sister-in-law and family, so tell them to bring a mat for someone to sleep on the floor. Also, some Homestead's will allow PLers to upgrade for $10-$20/nite. I use Homestead alot for my individual PL stays but won't bid any area that has Homestead if I have my family with me. Plz let us know how it goes. :)

Shingwedzi, many of us have not been happy with our experiences at FairField Inns lately. Please let us know how it goes for you especially if you requested a room with 2 doublebed and you get it. Many Priceliners are not being treated fairly. I am finding that the FI Inns should be downgraded to 1* and the FI Inns & suites should stay as 2*. Plz give us your thoughts. Tks! :)
