The Checkout bill placed under my door showed $0.00 balance due. But today when I checked my charge card statement online there was a $14.97 charge!! Call this DT directly and they found it to be a mistake and will credit ASAP! This goes to show that even with a 0 balance checkout slip, one must watch those charge card charges! Leaving a charge card on file for incidentals can be a problem when one does not usually charge incidetals. :)

Super nice remodeled DoubleTree Suites. Was given a large (Hilton Gold Member) Suite with coupons for FREE evening drinks and very nice hot breakfast! This is opposite to what I had read that PriceLine folks would NOT receive amenities. The front desk staff is into real customer service. :)

$25 for a nice 2* Baymont during a Fair is a great deal anyway you cut it! :)

We were just at this fabulous Resort today! What a treat! Any region-room in this Resort would be super. The standard room is either 1 King or 2 Queen beds. The Suites are lovely! The $83 rate you got was perhaps one of the lowest rates I have ever seen for this Resort! Be proud, you did good! :)

The next time may I suggest that you try Brunswick Georgia for the same price and the 2* hotels (Baymont Inn, LaQuinta Inn, Hampton Inn and Ramada Inn) are right off I-95. All with Comp B'fast. :)

Oh yes, the LAX Hilton has great airport shuttle service. We have used it several times. I am curious, why did you bid so high for such a distant date and gobs of bidding time (8 months out--Jan 05)? :)

Another Fairfield Inn bites the dust! It was a good deal for just passing thru! We were trying to get this same Fairfield in June but having no luck and it has no web availability, so I wrote Marriott. Here is Marriott's response!
