I've stayed at this hotel before, also through Hotwire but apparently I didn't post about it here. Very convenient location, near highways and mall. Across the parking lot from a "gentlemen's club". It was a shock when I first pulled up because you have to pass the club to get to the hotel. Hotel is clean and nice and has NO AFFILIATION with the club. In fact if you park in the main lot, the hotel blocks your view to the club. The club probably just looks like a bar to kids: a dark colored building, well lit parking lot and a few neon signs. I don't think the club is any reason not to use this hotel just wanted to make people aware. By the way, plenty of room for free truck/RV parking. I used the HOTWIRE link

I was pleasantly surprised to get the Doubletree. I've stayed there before and the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies in the lobby are a nice touch. Always free at check-in and even at other times if you are nice to the staff! By the way, the Doubletree needs to be added to the Hotwire Hotel List. And yes, I used the HOTWIRE link to make my purchase. Thanks again for keeping this site going!

Initially used the HOTWIRE link but as the transaction was being completed I got an error that the transaction couldn't be completed. I tried again and had the same problem. Exited Firefox and tried again. Forgot to use the HOTWIRE link that time but it did go through. I'll be sure to use it for my next purchase!

Hotel is nice and overlooks the Muny Lot where everyone tailgates. One of the best locations for the Browns/squealers game! I'm really surprised rooms are available for such a big game.
