1. Inched up by $5 increments up to $145 then $2 increments and hit at $147. Express deal was showing $149 but I also used the 5% off coupon. Worked out to be about $195 per night including all taxes and resort fees. Hot.wire rate was showing $151. I believe online the hotel was $219 + taxes + resort fee ($28.25/room/night). Nice deal! We stayed here around the same time of year two years back and hit $100/night on Price.line.

Used the PRICELINE link as always! Thanks for your service!

  2. I started at $50 (which I knew would be low) and went up in $5 increments until at $70 I received a +$16 offer ($86) which I refused and then went up in $2 increments until I received this hotel. Used the PRICELINE link on this site (as I always try to remember to do). The Hotwire rate for this star level and area was $83.

It is kind of nice that they separated this area out from the rest of West Des Moines on Priceline. We were willing to pay a bit more to stay in this area but likely could have stayed about 2 miles north (Marriott) for a bit less. We are happy.

Total was $91.99 including all fees and taxes. Rate on their website was $150 with all fees and taxes.

Thanks for the service you provide!

  3. Thanks as always!

  4. I apologize. As I'm typing this I fear I may have forgotten to use the link on this site. New hotel reported for this area. Just back from my stay. I hope this isn't whining ... I was quite disappointed with this stay. I love the service you provide and will continue to use and support this site. I realize there is risk involved and this is not your fault in any way. It was a fine stay, but nothing of my typical experience through hotels I've received through Hotwire. I don't think I'd risk this area and star level if ever staying in Wichita again. I definitely would not intentionally stay here.

Amenities: Free parking, Free breakfast, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Airport shuttle, Fitness center, Pool(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Kitchenette.

Thank you for the great service you guys provide ... I will continue to post my wins!

  5. Didn't care if I stayed in Park City or Wichita East area at 3* so I started with both areas checked at $45 (had seen this as lowest accepted bid in Wichita East) and was accepted on the first bid. You might be able to start lower for Park City area and have success. This looks like a solid place! Used the PRICELINE link as always ... Thanks!

  6. Started at $50 working up to $58 and then hit at next bid of $60 ... Free re-bid zone for 3* in this area was Copperas Cove (Temple also in the area). Thanks as always and we used the PRICELINE link. Price online was $90.67 avg per night ($102 for one night ... $85 per night for next two ... PLUS $10 additional per night for each person after the first). Pretty nice deal all around. I love your service!

  7. Had two free rebids. Did PRICELINE change their process? I failed my first two bids and then tried advanced techniques, but beginning with two areas was not allowed upon first bid. Basically I bid just like I had previously and was allowed to even though it was RIGHT after I had just failed. I started at $70 and failed up to $90 ... I saw the express deal was $104 for likely the same hotel. My next bid was $95 and was successful. Rack rate on hotel website was $144. Used the PRICELINE link and thanks for this service.

  8. This was an interesting bid ... I didn't care where I stayed out of 1) SAT Airport 2) Med Center 3) Fiesta - La Cantera 4) SA North - Stone Oak ... so I included all in my initial bid and treated them as one area when using advanced bidding techniques. I inched up and at one point received a counter-offer for $63 and turned it down which ended up costing me a $1 bid-wise. This doesn't usually happen but I have had that decision come back to bite me a time or two. Used the PRICELINE link and thanks for your service! Lowest rate on Courtyard's site was $109 with $99 the low with pre-payment.
