  1. I'm just wondering if I did this correctly or should I have started a new post under Priceline?
  2. I think I read that you would like all posts for this trip on the same thread even if I am looking into Priceline now? I have 3 Priceline express hotels I am interested in: 3 1/2* LBV DD shows free parking, restaurant, internet, pool, fitness - not showing a resort fee for $102 (is this the Radisson?) 3 1/2* I Drive South-Sea World shows pets allowed, business, pool, fitness for $50 and $19.95 resort fee (Doubletree?) 3 1/2* I Drive Conv. Center-Pointe Orlando shows free parking, internet, business, breakfast, restaurant, pool and no fee. Also has bed choice which one is a 1 bedroom suite for $115 I try to match the up to the hotel lists but I know they aren't always clear so thanks for any help!
  3. We didn't end up booking this. I was trying to decide about the fees and no breakfast etc and then the weekend was over and the price went up. I am still trying to find something so I may be back, thanks :-)
  4. Its been a while since I posted on here so I would really appreciate your help for this and I will be sure to post what I end up doing :-) I am seeing a 4* LBV Springs with 90% recommended and $23 fee My dates are 3/12-14 and I am putting in 2 adults and 2 children and getting a rate of $93 weekend special Amenities: FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Resort, Suite, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower I would like if this was the Caribe Royale. (don't want what Priceline considers a 4* Sheraton LBV.) I have been watching what I thought was Buena Vista Suites 3 1/2* but I don't think I see it anymore? **Edited to add: looks like Caribe doesn't offer breakfast like Buena Vista Stes does which makes me want to reconsider especially with the high resort fee. Still interested if this is Caribe tho. Do you think BV Suites isn't listed now?*** Thank you very much! Diane
  5. You can delete this if you want..we arent going anyway
  6. I have looked through all the past wins and cannot exactly match any of these. Would appreciate any opinions. I am searching for June 6th, 1 night, 2 rooms, 3 adults and 3 kids total: 3* Shuttle, fitness, pool, business, int., golf $47 3 1/2*: shuttle, fitness, rest, business, internet $68 (edit: I think I identified this on package section: Crowne Plaza) 2 1/2*: shuttle, breakfast, pool, laundry, internet $38 (edit: I think from the package this may be Best Western GR Airport) 2*: breakfast, fitness, pool, business, laundry, internet, golf $41 Grand Rapids Airport area, thanks!
  7. I think they were asking if any Disney resorts come up on Hotwire and the simple answer (at least recently) is no.
  8. Thanks for the help but we arent going to use this..hoped for something cheaper. I think you may be right about which hotel it is though :)
  9. Hi would very much appreciate an opinion on what this could be. 2.5* Lansing West for $73 one night 8/16 for 2 adults/2 kids Breakfast, pool, internet, fitness, business thank you!
  10. If you really want a condo I would suggest www.hotelkingdom.com and search for Cypress Pointe. They usually have a pretty good rate for the place and its quite nice. Note the regular section has been remodeled more recently then the Grand Villas part. Just read the rules for Hotel Kingdom too as I believe they have a strict refund policy. (You usually have to deposit the first night)
  11. That IS a bummer. This hotel is mostly why I wont bid 3* in that area anymore..its nasty. Some say its not too bad but many dont believe its a true 3*. Unfortunately no matter how many times Priceline has received complaints (and believe me they have received alot) they insist it is a 3* and wont do anything about it. So you are stuck. Just keep asking for a new room until you get a semi decent one.
  12. I saw your post on the 'other' board and you certainly wont get much but a chastising comment over 'there'..however to be honest if you knew these hotels were a possibility why did you go ahead and go for it? I personally will not bid 3* in that area right now because of the horrible hotels they are offering and claiming are 3*. There isnt much you can do now except hope for the best (although hasnt the Holiday Inn gotten decent recent reviews?)
  13. I missed the 'laundry' in their list but at least I got the hotel right :) LOL
  14. JOJO: Downtown Orlando isnt going to be a good location to stay if you are planning on doing Disney or theme parks.
  15. My opinion is this is the HOliday Inn Sunspree (although it does show laundry and yours doesnt?) I am not sure if those who usually respond agree but that is what I would think if it was me looking..
  16. Sorry yes that is correct, typed too fast. Also the rate was $44 - maybe I mistyped that too. Total with tax for 2 nights was $106 and change.
  17. I went ahead and booked a 2 1/2* Universal I Drive North pool, rest, laundry which was Comfort Inn Universal
  18. Looking for my sister. I have most of the options figured out but two. Dates are 3/17-19 for 2 adults 2 1/2* Maingate $39 Pool, Internet, Restaurant 2 1/2* Seaworld I Drive South $69 Pool, Laundry, Restaurant I dont usually like the 2 1/2* choices but want to give her options I dont think I have any outstanding posts/requests so thanks for the help!
  19. If its either of those you dont really want them..they arent the nicest around...
  20. Also..you need the Lake Buena Vista area category for the hotels that are closer to WDW..
  21. Dolphin is a Starwood/Sheraton hotel (is that the same company as Hilton? I am not sure)
  22. VERY rarely do they show up. I remember a while back maybe almost a year ago the All Stars were showing up on one of them but nothing since then. We got the Dolphin (not Disney owned) about 2 or 3 years ago on Priceline but I havent seen anything for there since either. If you really want a Disney hotel wait it out a little longer and keep checking www.mousesavers.com for specials from Disney. Late August is starting to be a slower time and they typically put out some kind of specials
  23. Wow with this hotel still coming up alot and now that Holiday Inn it sure makes me not want to take a chance with a 3* anymore..and thats a shame because the Sheraton Safari is also rated 3* and is much nicer!
