Been looking for the last week for cheap comfortable highly rated 8+ and Priceline Express finally came through. Free Parking, Free Breakfast, Free Internet Very happy with this selection as it had not been listed in the Priceline Express Deals section on the Better Bidding Priceline Hotel List but was listed under the regular section.

Great deal, research pointed to this being the potential hotel to win on PRICELINE EXPRESS, Amenities Pets Allowed, Free Parking, Business Center, Free Internet, Free Breakfast, Indoor or Outdoor pool, Fitness Center, guest rating 8/10. Tried Priceline bid at $65, got counter offered with $88, continued to add zones containing hotels less than 3*, went up to $75 and figured I would jump back over to PRICELINE EXPRESS and go for the $81, very pleased with the price. Reviews on Tripadvisor are great.

Great rate, mixed reviews on Tripadvisor, we'll see.

Began bidding earlier this week with the hope of getting this hotel as this zone only has two 3* that have been showing up. Current rate on the hotel web site is $95.00. Started at $45 and was countered with if I added $12 my bid would be accepted, went through this throughout the week after waiting the 24 hrs and not adding any other zones. At $48, $50, and $52 Priceline kept countering. Won today with the $55 bid. Happy with the hotel as it rates high on Tripadvisor. Used the PRICELINE link to make my bid. Wow this one was interesting, saw that someone got the Jersey City Hyatt for $73 on 2/2-2/3/11, using this info I started my bid on 2/13 as so, concentrating only on 4* and submitting only 1 bid per day (no rebids adding other zone even though I know I could) 2/13 Bid $74 and was countered if I add $20 for a total of $94 my bid would be accepted, did the same from 2/14-2/18 and increased bid by $1 each day and was countered with add $20 each time. Today I increased bid amount to $83 and was countered with if I add $25 my bid would be accepted. I decided to add another zone and increased bid to $86 which was accepted. Priceline was showing the average hotel was $199 up until today when it showed $179. Hotels in the area were going as follows, Courtyard $139, Doubletree $139 (today 130) , Westin $143, Hyatt $199 (today $179) W Hotel $199 Very happy with the outcome. Hi I did try the free rebids with no luck so far, most likely will try again tomorrow, backup plan most likely will be Morristown as I recently stayed at the Hyatt there. I'm watching the hotel web sites for Jersey City to see if they start to come down, amazing that another bidder has gotten the JC Hyatt for $75 from the 23-27 but the rate is showing on the Hyatt web site at $179

Hi Thanks for the quick response, I'm looking for Friday night 11/28/08, max bid I would like is $85, I've started at $68 (rejected) added West Orange and increased to $71 and was unsure of adding Seacacus-North Bergen as a free rebid in case there may be some 3.5 hotels there.

Looking to get the Hyatt in Jersey City and with Pricelines new listings I don't want to get burned, is there any chance there is a 3.5 in Seacaucus-North Bergen with the new ratings? If not then I can use this towards a free re-bid. Thanks
